Food was amazing. Service was wonderful, young people with a genuine interest in your enjoyment. Their English was not the best, which is the best way to tell how good your food will be in my opinion. I learned the Spanish word for shrimp and that's awesome. Really enjoyed all the artwork depicting Frida Kahlo. Did not realize the place was named for her! Highly recommend. Yum.

10/2023 - Taco Tuesday is great!! Salsa bar has different salsas and they're phenomenal! Good atmosphere and they treat you respectfully! In the area be sure to drop by!3/2024 - Update: Visited the location with friends from another county who never been before and the service was great. Had issues with the portions now and the prices. Ordered a small cheese dip and and was surprised by the size of the bowl it was brought out in. Honestly, it should have been $3.00 but they charged $5.00 for the little black bowl. Also, they have these little salsa cups on the salsa bar, my friend ordered a side order of pico de gallo and the waiter bought it out in one of those little cups and they had the nerve to charge $1.50 for that! I was astonished! The food and service is very good but really don't overdue it. We go all the time and wanted to bring others to the restaurant because we have raved about how good it is and we felt so bad about those portions for those prices. On top of this my friend was charged $62 for one adult beverage! The waiter actually charged them for 7 drinks instead of 1. LOL!!!Overall, we will go back and we will continue to bring new people to experience but I do hope you read this review and consider changing your pricing on cheese dip and pico de gallo. I know there's been a price change where you added a $ to every entree but be careful with your portions.

Unbelievably awesome food and service. I had the Trio chimichangas. My wife had shrimp fajitas. Both came out hot! Fajitas were smoking in the skillet. Great flavors. Also have a salsa bar to choose your salsa. As I was writing this the next booth ordered fish fajitas and those really were on fire!!!! Atmosphere is very informal. We will definitely be back again and again.

Delicious food, wonderful service — what more could you ask for in a lunch spot? We ate here after hitting the outlets and couldn’t have enjoyed our meal more. All of the salsas were great and our lunch portions were huge! We’ll definitely be back!

I feel like our table was being over looked as everyone around us is getting service but we had to flag someone down just to get someone to look our way. The staff is nice but still.
To save anyone traveling thru & not from the area. This restaurant has been temporarily closed since July. They update on Facebook regarding their reopening date.Other than that - food is delicious and the owners are great folks. Went for Cinco de Mayo and it was a packed house. Try the birria tacos! Drinks are delicious! Definitely worth checking out when they reopen soon!

Allergic to cilantro told the waitress now cilantro many times both my wifes plate and mine had it. Finished the bowl of chips was asked if we wanted more, I told here no. She brought more chips. What a waste.

The food was fine, but we probably won't be going back. The service wasn't the worst ever, but after our food was brought out, nobody ever checked again to see if we needed anything... And we were never given a refill on our drinks. For me, that's one of the things that matters most to me, is having plenty to drink with my meal.
