My wife and I stopped for dinner, and ordered the fish of the day., one bottle of beer, and a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was disappointing. The grouper was good, but was served with a small plastic cup of rice. The waitress was not friendly at all, Half an hour later and 95 dollars poorer (including tip), we left… still hungry. That says a lot as we usually have to request a doggie bag. I thought the experience was worth much less, though the fish was tasty.

Very neat old building right on the water. Sit outside and enjoy the fishing boats comimg back. Good food and drinks. Out sever did a great job. Really enjoyed the seared Tuna

The place has been hyped by friends but we found it disappointing in terms of a very limited menu, and even then the food was unremarkable. Do you have to serve beans, coleslaw, etc. in a plastic cup? Nice dining area outside overlooking the water, and friendly service.

Food is average. The location is pleasent, overlooking the water. Service was poor at best. Very slow service for average food. Other choices were fully booked

Went here for lunch this week. Got fried grouper platters. Grouper was good..price was very high at $23 each. The cole slaw side came in a specimen cup of about 2 forks full. The beans in a slightly larger specimen cup of 4 forks full. Extremely pitiful considering the plate cost. We're locals...never going back. Skimpy portions at high prices might work on the tourists.

They used to be a good place to go for dinner. Their prices have gone up on food and drinks high high. The other thing that stopped me is not only did they go up on prices but you only get half the portions. No thank you. I can throw my money away someplace else

Rustic and cool place. Fried oysters were excellent. Service was great. BUT: wife ordered the grouper sandwich, which was MKT price. I would bet a thousand bucks that the fish was not Grouper. It was COD. Not bad fish but, should have put malt vinegar on it like it was from a British restaurant! I mentioned this to the server and he made no comment whatsoever and brought the check. No explanation.

Came upon the restaurant and decided to see if dogs would be welcome. The staff and owner went out of there way to welcome our oversized fur boys. We had she crab soup, grouper fingers, grouper sandwich and salad with shrimp. The food came out fast and was prepared and tasted superb. We had a great view and conversation with friendly staff. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Hello All I ordered 2 dinner takeout and to my surprise, the portion each entree is so small and look like a kid portion quality is good but quantity is poor. the same price I can get from Goldfish Restaurant with more portion. I called Big Tune and spoke to a lady and voice my honest opinion and she told me Big Tune and Gold Fish is two different restaurant and that's how they portion their food. I don't recommend this place to eat out unless you are rich and don't care about how they ripped you off. I am not going back to this place. I will go to Gold Fish because they value their customer.

Stopped here because it seemed nothing else was open on this Sunday. Partner's grouper fingers were good but my shrimp cocktail wasn't. The shrimp were overcooked and chalky. Onion rings had a light batter but were very salty. Waitress was new and when she brought the bill, my partner noticed she'd overcharged the grouper fingers. She said they'd had a price increase today. He paid it but I was not happy about that so brought it to the hostess' attention and she was very understanding and said we should have been told about the price increase when we ordered. She had the bill adjusted and gave me a piece of pie to take home for my inconvenience. Therefore I'm happy with her help but 2 out of 3 food items we had were not to our liking so I'm only giving them a 3 rating.

I realize that finding help is hard these days. But when you do, as a manager you have the job of training them properly. Today our waitress had 6 tables. We waited 25 min for our drinks in which case we had to ask for them. Then she left , came back and asked what we ordered. She acknowledged when we needed something but never followed through. I ordered Grouper sandwich. Barely covered the bun which was smaller than most regular buns. Ordered onion rings. Greasy and limp. Fries were great. My husband actually got up to retrieve the pitcher of tea as I had been out for 10 min. Never ever had this poor of service. I blame management for not training people properly and frankly this girls head was all over the place. Usually have had good food here. Sad to see it go down hill.

I had the gumbo and grilled seafood platter. We sat outside and had nice view . I am in a wheelchair and was able to roll right up to first table and sit comfortably. Service was great. Quick and attentive during meal.

Tony and I stopped in Historic Georgetown, SC to have lunch along the waterfront. It was a lovely restaurant. The waitress was very friendly but easily distracted. Tony ordered a PBR and I went with Sweet tea with lemon & lime. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Tomato, Onion & Lettuce with fries and Tony a Grilled Flounder sandwich with Tarter, Tomato and Lettuce and fries. The food was really good and I would definitely eat here again. Definitely recommend you try it if and when in Georgetown SC. There is free on street parking and lovely outside water scenery sitting!!

Busy afternoon but patiently waited for a seat outside. Staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed everything I ordered. All delicious and my side salad was nice, crisp and really fresh. My Bloody Mary tasted great too. I really like this casual and rustic seafood restaurant and loved sitting outside with this view of Georgetown's waterfront.
