My husband and I went here on a whim for our 3 year wedding anniversary and we are so happy we did! We wanted to try some place new without reading reviews or menus ahead of time. This place is certainly a hidden gem! The entire staff were so personable! They truly cared about our experience there. The waiter was awesome and hooked us up with some super delicious desert! The owner was very involved in his business which is certainly a reflection of how well it is run. I highly recommend dining here! We will definitely be going back there soon! Thank you Tuscany Bistro for a great experience and delicious food!

Ate at Tuscany Bistro tonight and it was just ok. We had a reservation and the place was mostly empty and they still put is at a table by the kitchen door. Not sure why. Service was good but food was just ok. We both had veal. My wife's was tough mine was dry. We ate there a year ago and it was really good. Very disappointed tonight and see why it was empty at 7:00 on a Friday Night.

Omg.. the new management, menu, bar staff are so different. Local hospitality and excellent quality food. Tuna nachos are Hugh quality! Small plate menu extensive. Piano bar on Saturday’s. Chase and Tony at the bar are cuties and friendly! Have not been there in a year and WOW! What a nice surprise. Will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Just ask and they will customize your selection! Awesome!

This was second dining experience where we made reservations and the restaurant called and confirmed our reservation, only to be told when we showed up to honor the reservation that they did not have our reservation. Won't be returning. Once I can overlook but twice we cannot. Our dining experience consisted of sitting in a corner at a high top table next to a garbage can listening to clanking bottles being thrown in the can.There are too many options for dining in the area to have to deal with this type of service. Inexcusable and extremely inconvenient.

With a name like Tuscany Bistro, I expected more pasta dishes. Lunch menu has no pasta options. The kitchen was gracious enough to make me a bollanise. It was OK, more like a kids menu item rather than a thought out dish. Dinner menu has few pasta options and all have seafood in them. I ordered the shrimp with fettuccine minus the shrimp but still got charged the cost of the dish with the shrimp! The servers are pleasant and accommodating. Only reason I did not give service 5 stars is because of the charge for my fettuccine. I feel the server should have rung the charge up differently or asked a supervisor about it if she did not have any options. (We did not bring it to the attention of the restaurant at the time, it was a very busy holiday weekend). The atmosphere is very inviting. A piano player adds low-volume melody to the dinner experience. Candlelight, an outdoor porch bar and rustic chic decor give a wow! factor. My suggestion is to review the menu before you go, don"t get drawn in by the name and expect Italian fare. There are many tasty options, just not my taste.

We went last night...professionally greeted… the food was simply fantastic. We had a seafood paella which reminded us of our “down neck” … The Spain in the Portuguese section of Newark NJ. !!!!!!!!The Chef came out and we had a great conversation. He and his Son have a REAL WINNER here. We will return and often.
