We tried Choices for lunch and were completely underwhelmed by every aspect of our meal. I am usually fine trying places that look like dives, the food is often amazing- not in this case. The atmosphere was not very welcoming so we got our meal to go. Everything was bland, under-seasoned and overcooked. No need to go back.

The food was not good. It had too much sauce. It was sweet. The oxtails was horrible. The jerk chicken was not spicy I would never ever buy food from that place again.

Ordered three large plates of oxtails with sides. It’s 4p in the afternoon and a Saturday. My husband was told it would be 1hr before order would be ready. Hesitant but we agreed. It took 2hrs before we received our order. No one came out to let us know the status of our order. I had to call the establishment. No apology or an offer to make things right. I was really disappointed. I am very big on customer service. What happened? Why did it take so long?

I traveled the country, and tasted alot of jamaican food, being originally from Queens, NY, I wanted to taste an original jamaican dish, this wasn't it, the price did not match the taste, or the amount $36 for 2 large curry chicken plates, definitely wasn't worth it, plus ordering outside, kinda weirded me out, I won't be returning, and maybe it was just a bad day, hope they figure things out quickly ??♂️

When you work hard you deserve yo have a great meal. It's the Oxytails for me with that rice and cabbage ?. The owner is so nice yall go see what I an talking about.
The oxtail was delicious. The rice was full of flavor. And the cabbage was great side to round out a wonderful lunch. Staff was friendly and genuine. I am now a fan of Jamaican ginger beer.

Absolutely the worst Caribbean restaurant I went too. I order the oxtail plate they gave me two oxtails and under cooked white rice and charge me extra for a small portion of Mac and cheese. I will never go back there stole my money and my time.

I read some of the reviews before my Daughters went to get food Today 11/12/2022, I have to say the person who commented about the Gravy being sweet was correct. I couldn't eat it, I love Brown stew chicken and i have had it from many different Jamaican Restaurants all over the United States. I'm sorry but i love Brown stew chicken when prepared correctly and this just didn't do it for us across the board.

The rice and peas is just white rice and canned peas. That’s not true rice and peas. The oxtail was very sweet that’s not Jamaican period. The plating was horrible, my rice was drenched in sauce. The chicken roti was too sweet and no potatoes or chick peas that’s not roti, the roti skin taste like bake mix.There giving Jamaicans a bad name and I should now I’m Caribbean. Please go and take a course in cooking Caribbean food.

Time management is horrible. I ordered my food online an hour before I got there. And it was still almost 30 mins and the food that I ordered still wasn't made yet. So they had to substitute my food for something else and it looks like a smaller portion than anticipated. The curry chicken looks very dry and chicken does look very dry.To response below. I never got my brown stew chicken because it would have been an extra 20 mins. So in substitution curry chicken was offered and so I agreed. I agreed because time constraints were not in my favor but it had already been an hour since I ordered my food. Thank you for your response, but this was my experience.
