We go at least once a week now, so much so that even the newer staff know our names and can expect our appetizers. My friends order raw sushi I order cooked and there's always amazing options for all of us--eveh for the vegetarian we have with us! We have never had anything less than a five star experience here!!“
“Best Asian food you can find in Greenville for the price! Their lunch menu prices, and dinner menu prices are unbeatable. There are not many places you can find a lunch for under $10 and a dinner for under $15. Especially their portion sizes are amazing. They were all cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. My favorite was the lamb shank, which was so tender and juicy that it fell off the bone. My wife loved the risotto, which was creamy and rich. My kids enjoyed the pad thai, which was sweet and spicy. And the chicken tikka masala was a hit with everyone, with its creamy and aromatic sauce.We were pretty full by then, but we couldn't resist trying some of their desserts. We ordered the chocolate lava cake, the tiramisu, and the baklava. They were all heavenly and decadent. The chocolate lava cake was ooey and gooey, the tiramisu was light and fluffy, and the baklava was crispy and nutty. We savored every bite and licked our spoons clean.We had a wonderful time at Purple International Bistro, and we can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the price was reasonable. “I went for a late dinner tonight and after not visiting for 6 months, I'm a little disappointed.The food was good, but not as incredible as it was when we went when I first moved to Greenville. I have eaten at Chun Chun five or six times, but not recently until tonight. The chicken on both the Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken was unevenly cut, so some of it was cooked but not crisp at all and some smaller pieces were so overcooked the meat was tough. The sauces and the fried rice were a little underseasoned. The fried chicken wings were overfried and not super enjoyable to eat. The fried dumplings were excellent as always.The service was average. We had to flag the waitstaff down a couple times for drinks, which is fine, but they didn't fill all of our drinks each time, which was odd. The waitstaff was nice and polite, but failed to ask us what size we wanted for our entrees and automatically entered them as large unknown to us until the bill came. She also didn't ask if we wanted to split the bill, which was inconvenient (there was a couple and a friend - we ended up settling it through cash app).As for atmosphere, the building has quite an echo to it, so when the restaurant's music was playing, it seemed quite loud and it was difficult to converse over it. It also meant other diners were speaking louder than normal too. The decorations are absolutely beautiful, but there is a lot of decor.Overall, I definitely will be checking back in to see if they continue to decline in quality or if tonight was a fluke. Chun Chun used to be my favorite asian food restaurant in Greenville, and I hope they stay that way. YMMV if you dine in for lunch.“
“Excellent food especially the authentic Chinese dish such as Canton Shrimp. I always have great sashimi and sushi over there. The Mango over sticky rice with coconut is tasty. Service is wonderful including the robot server. Owner Susi s always make you feel welcoming. Great dinner experience.“
“I thought this would be similiar to the Chinese food you get in this area but it's not. Farr superior. Everything looks just like the picture! The lady here is very nice also and you can tell she cares about the quality of food and customer service. Chicken curry was amazing. Takeout process was easy.“
