Camp is an upscale, yet relaxed restaurant. There's patio seating (dog-friendly!) in addition to the main dining room floor. The menu is tapas-style, so expect small, yet filling dishes. Everything we ordered was super flavorful and was served to us as it was ready. The pace of the meal was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed the creativity of the kitchen. The one note we had was that the fish dip was extra fishy tasting - even as someone who loves fish, it was overpowering, but that is just my take. Love the central downtown location!

After wanting to try Camp for a year, we finally went today. Service and ambience were great but the food was only okay. The portions were very small. The pork and shrimp dumplings were okay, but the shrimp and pork did not complement each other well and sauce was overpowering. The scallops were perfectly cooked but the chorizo was too much for the delicate scallops. My son and I both ate the scallops separately from the polenta and chorizo. Overall we were disappointed in our experience after hearing rave reviews, but this was a new menu

Each dish was more surprising and interesting than the last. Was unlike any other dining experience I’ve had. Drinks were delicious. Service was excellent. Will be back next time I’m in GVL. Viva Mexico!

Just love love this place! Another round of fantastic food and service. Tonight's tastings included the Tenderloin Carpaccio with the fabulous Thomasville Tomme Mousse, the Goat cheese Gnudi (paid for 1 extra), Octoupus and Focaccia, Banana Caramal Almond Opera Torte and Carolina Gold Rice

The food was excellent. It is tapas style so the portions are smaller. Be prepared to order 2-3 per person for a full meal. The crispy lionsmane was delicious and the service was excellent.

We wanted to love this place because it came so highly recommended by friends. Unfortunately chef Diego was not in town so I can only imagine the chef was the secret missing ingredient. We had 3 dishes, lions mane starter, risotto and a michroom appetizer along with a bottle of wine. At $175 we expected A LOT better food. The lions mane starter was soggy, the risotto was flavorless and missing key risotto ingredients. The 3rd dish was so unremarkable we didn't finish it. Our server tried to make up for the night so I give him the extra stars but food quality and cost were both huge disappointments. Afraid to say this was our first and final visit to CAMP.

Delicious food and dessert! Great atmosphere. Takes a while to get your food because everything is made In-House.

Went there Saturday and it was so noisy , I could barely hear my wife speak. NOT RELAXING as stated on menu. Got our first dishes before our drinks. The carpacio had a sweet reduction cause on it that was overpowering so could not taste the beef. Sent it back and preparation without the sauce was good. Had the octopus and it had quince on it and that too killed the flavor. Scraped it off and the octopus was then good as it had been properly cooked. Had a third dish, a mushroom preparation, and it was tasty.Seems they are trying too hard to mix flavors, or chef has a big sweet tooth.

Food was great and not overly priced given that many of the "fine dining" establishments in Greenville are halfway-decent at best and you leave disappointed. We got the meat/bread appetizer... it was light and really was a good starter. The pickled vegetables were a nice touch.Seared scallops and the special valentine mushroom pot pie were our entrees. Flavors were fantastic... bold, but not overpowering. Scallops were cooked to perfection. The mushroom pot pie had amazing flavor if you like mushrooms... unfortunately the sauce had kind of broken but it still tasted great. The mixed drinks were phenomenal, tap beer selection was poor though. We will be back.
