This was my first Chophouse 47 experience and even though the food was good and our waiter (shout out to Ryan) was great, I will NEVER be coming back.I decided to take my family and my friends who were visiting from Texas (to give them to the true elegant Greenville experience) out to a nice steak house. I was very excited because of all the hype it gets. However, I have never been to a restaurant that was Anti-Baby.For a restaurant to promote "family friendly" on their website, it was quite the opposite. They don't have or offer high chairs! In addition, they also don't have a changing station in their Women or Men's restroom! I was incredibly angry and disappointed. If it is expected of me to pay $100+ for a nice meal, the least a restaurant can do is accommodate. My dining experience was RUINED! I had to hold my 9 month old daughter while trying to eat and instead of a safe highchair I had to put my daughter in her car seat then sit it on a chair which is far more dangerous! Also, any time I had to take care of my daughter I had to leave the restaurant and go to the car.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is NOT kid friendly! No highchairs or changing stations!

My partner & I always go here for our anniversary. The food is absolutely amazing always. I’ll definitely be back. However I was asked if I wanted another drink to go along with my meal. I said yes & the drink was delivered after I had finished my meal. At this point I was really full, and I didn’t know if I would be able to start my drink. Tried flagging down our server before she dropped off the drink but wasn’t able to get her. When she arrived with my drink after eating all of our food I told her I didn’t think I would be able to drink it & we tried getting her attention before she brought it over. She said she would talk to her manager about it. When she finally came back she came with two glasses of champagne for a celebratory toast for our anniversary. Very kind but not the gesture we were looking for after I just expressed I had enough to drink. And the drink was never taken off the tab. Again I love this place but we were just left confused why they would bring complimentary champagne after we just expressed I couldn’t start the drink she brought at the end of our meal. We will be back but I guess I’ll just stick to one next time. Because they weren’t timely with the second & then just brought us more alcohol thinking that would accommodate us?

Overall enjoyed my experience, however would not come back due to lack of options.Pros:- The restaurant is beautiful, and plays lovely music-If you're going for steak, they do an amazing job.- Our sever was amazing.- Service in general was great, if we had an issue that we mentioned, they did their best to correct it!Cons:- Very limited on dietary restrictions.- The side dishes (as far as vegetables go) are overall bland and not exciting.- Single chicken dish was bland.- Strange salad options (beefsteak tomato and onion salad. Consists of two large unseasoned raw tomatoes with a cut of raw onion. Comes with French dressing)

This was a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and a great server. We went for a birthday, and while the birthday girl loved her steak and wine pairing (great suggestion by the server) , it's clear the steak is the only focus for this restaurant. The chicken was a disappointing bland flavor despite looking great, and the veggies while well cooked had a similar issue with disappointing flavor for the pricing.-also should note the beefsteak tomato and onion salad are literally just 2 slices of tomato and a slice of raw onion. The dressing was great but didn't realize that was all that would be on the plate. The important part is the birthday girl enjoyed her meal but, most likely will not be back.

Can't believe we waited this long to try Chophouse 47. The crab cakes? Amazing. The sea bass? Amazing. The ribeye? You guessed it, amazing.

This was our first time dining here. We went for a special occasion and discovered in my opinion one of the finest restaurants that is a true experience. The service was beyond a fault but not pretentious.John was our “experience coordinator”. He was so much more than a server, and very professional and friendly. The food was one of the finest meals out in my four years in Greenville. It was a bit noisy because of an office party but not overwhelming. The ambience reminds me of the Palm Steakhouse in NYC, minus the charyactatures on the walls. Just beautiful and comfortable.Vimal, the manager is attention to detail on steroids with a great personality and so friendly and welcoming.

Currently at @Chophouse47, service is TERRIBLE, for the price, I would choose Halls every day of the week and twice on Sunday, first and last time we will eat here.

Chophouse 47 has contacted me and has made every possible effort to reconcile my complaint. I have changed my review to 5 stars. The problem has been resolved. Thanks Chophoust 47, you are still my favorite place to dine!!My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary March 3, 2024 at Chophouse 47, our favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, my steak, bone in ribeye, had so much gristle that I could not chew the majority of my steak. I carried half of it home , only to find threads of gristle in the meat. I threw it away. My wife enjoyed her meal. She had the petite filet, it was perfect. We enjoyed the evening but we were greatly disappointed in the ribeye.

Was in town just for a night and decided on Chophouse 47. Wow is all I can say. I love steak and have been fortunate to dine at a lot of top "steakhouses" throughout the country. I can say this was a top 3 steak that I've ever had. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend.

Our server Amanda was fantastic. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection. The center cut filet was one of the best steaks I've had. The sides were plenty to share. We will definitely be back.

The atmosphere was nice, but as we left there was a crowd waiting at the entry which seemed a little out of line. The food was very good, and the service was A+. Possibly a little over priced but not way out of line. Would recommend!

Yes this place looks like a nice place to eat. The food is ok and the service is sub par.The management is doesn't do their job. They over book themselves. The customers are the ones who suffer. I highly recommend. Taking your business elsewhere. There is plenty of other fine dining in Greenville.
