Great place for lunch. My wife & I both had the Ruben Sandwich with coleslaw, potato salad & fried pickles. It was delicious. Exactly what a deli should be. Clean, friendly with great food.( so good I forgot to take photos! :-) )
First time here and was super excited to try after following on social media. We got there around 1:30 on a Saturday and there were only 2 people in line in front of us. We waited 10 minutes in line and when we got ready to order they were out of fries. Once we ordered, we waited another 30 minutes to get our food. The only plus to this experience was that the food was really, really good for a deli and super filling. May or may not return to give them another try.

Clayton’s Deli was the perfect place for a baby shower that I hosted. We had a space all to ourselves and the food was delicious. They have the best chicken salad that I have ever had! Austin is awesome. We will all be visiting there again soon.

I stopped in to try the pound cake advertised. A full cake is 37.50 but has to be ordered 24 hers ahead. They had cakes you could have slices off of so I got that. I'm glad I didn't buy a whole cake. The lemon pound cake was dried out around the outside and there was no lemon flavor.
Ordered: Breakfast Burrito & Breakfast Burger. My wife had the burrito. It was tasty from the bite I had. I don't know if I would order it, but that's only because I would want to try their other selections.I had the burger and it was really good. The egg was made perfectly, the hash browns had an amazing crunch. Very tasty. Honestly the only change I would make would be to season it a bit more. A little more salt and pepper and it would be incredible.

We felt so lucky to have found this gem of a restaurant! My daughter-in-law, two young grandsons, and I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We didn't want a chain restaurant, and the ratings were great, so we decided to try it. WOW. Our meals were absolutely delicious and every meal we ate had a little something special about it. The kids had eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The bacon ?! A little thicker sliced, perfectly cooked, and there was a little bit of a seasoning on it that elevated it. The pancakes had a little bit of those crispy edges, and they didn't fall apart after butter & syrup! My daughter had a crazy breakfast smash burger! So yummy! And I had a breakfast burrito with egg, sausage crumble, avocado, and black beans. Tasted great, and held together neatly! We also had to sample a crispy, flavorful, handmade hash brown patty, plus the pound cake. Heavenly. To top it off, even the coffee was rich and special. You can tell that lots of thought and love goes into this food. I can't wait to try lunch there! Please - try this place. Truly one of the most delicious and satisfying meals we've had in a while. Thank you, Clayton's!Parking: Love that you can park right outside the door, not some lot around the corner.Kid-friendliness: We brought my two young grandsons, ages 4 and 7. They were very comfortable, and really enjoyed their breakfasts. Clayton's has a relaxed, fun vibe!

Food was delicious and it was all fresh. Very open lobby with plenty of seating and not overwhelming noise. Enjoyed lunch here and will plan on returning for another meal! I got the chicken, bacon ranch sandwich with house made chips.

Stay away from the Ruben if you're downtown. Really not good and poorly thrown together. Not sure about the other food. I had to throw it away.

I was excited to finally try out Clayton’s Deli for Restaurant Week because they had an interesting menu and it’s somewhat inexpensive compared to the other participating restaurants.Really cute diner that has an old-fashioned vibe with a focus on breakfast + lunch sandwiches and pound cake from The Pound Cake Man, whom I’ve been a long-time fan of. Also, very friendly customer service.I had gotten the Heart and Seoul Sloppy Joe (a Restaurant Week special). I was intrigued because I already love Korean food and this had a gochujang sloppy joe sauce with a “quick” kimchi so I wanted to try it. However, I could barely taste the gochujang in the sauce and the “kimchi” had more of a sour taste instead of being tangy or spicy like typical kimchi. The sandwich wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either. The whole fried okra was extremely bland…no seasoning whatsoever. But, the Fruity Pebbles cupcake was great.I left still feeling hungry, yet my stomach felt a bit funky afterwards. There is always room for improvement and maybe their other menu options are better. But, it would be some time before I give this place another go.
