My husband and I frequent Coral for pretty much every special occasion! The food is always delicious. Today I tried their special of soft shell crab and it did not disappoint! The saltiness of the fried crab and the bright notes of the arugula citrus salad complimented each other so well. I’ve had the halibut several times and the combination of all the flavors really hits the spot. The scallops are so good my husband gets it almost every time.Every dessert we’ve had has been delicious. The chocolate mouse is one of our favorites. The textures play together beautifully. It’s also such a nice touch they give you a few chocolates for special occasions.Their food chefs and pastry chefs are out of this world. Excellent job to all of them!As far as service goes, they outshine any restaurant I’ve ever been to. It’s clear there’s a lot of training that goes in to the way everything runs so smoothly. Every waiter/ess we’ve had has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I also think it’s very impressive that the managers/owners maybe? are always willing to help with tasks like clearing dishes and taking drink orders. The teamwork of the staff is impecable, and our food has also always come out very quickly.The ambiance is very nice. The lighting is at a good level where you can see each other but it’s also dimmed to where it feels like a nicer restaurant. It is on the louder side in the dining room but not to the point where you can’t have a conversation. I also really like the decor!If I had one small constructive criticism it would be that I would love to see some rotating specials as far as drinks go. While their cocktail options are good, to my knowledge the menu hasn’t really changed. Some seasonal drinks would be fun!All in all, favorite restaurant in Greenville! We recommend it to all our family and friends whenever we get the chance!

Rounded up to 5 stars, but would say more like 4.5 ⭐️.Restaurant is fairly loud, but overall the atmosphere is really nice. The booth where our party of 4 was seated was very roomy and comfortable. The low ambient lighting gave off a cozy and intimate feel.We started off with some wine, mules, and a bees knees. I can't speak for the others' drinks, but the bees knees was light, crisp, and refreshing. I've had so many that are just too syrupy. Not the case here.For apps, we had the carpaccio and calamari. The carpaccio was nice, but could be elevated a bit more. The calamari was pretty basic, so probably wouldn't order again.A major highlight was the burrata said. Amazing flavor combinations with the pesto and prosciutto. Chef's kiss.Our mains were pork chop, halibut, and scallops. We were all very pleased.The finale was the absolutely delicious sticky toffee pudding. Beyond amazing. We also had the cereal dessert special. It was unique, but compared to the pudding, no contest.Overall, a great experience, especially with friends. Would I go again? Absolutely.Service was also amazing!!!

I parked at the restaurant around 4:15, got a cocktail and ordered some food. 10 minutes later the host started bothering me saying that I have to move my car or use their valet parking service, she threatened me that I will get a ticket. I did ask the server at the bar if I can cancel my food, she said that it is too late but ensured me that I can get my food in time before I have to leave (because I have to leave the parking spot). Ok, I relaxed and enjoyed my cocktail... Then after just a few minutes another server (or manager) at the bar started pressing me again so that I have to move my car... Oh my...----Reply to the reply: maybe if your hostess would be more polite (using simple words as please or thank you, etc.) and smiley, her comment would not sound as a threat. At the end of our conversation she said "then you have to move your car by 5" and I said okay. I think they could not find anyone else who was parked upfront and I became an easy target. There were no need for your manager to start the conversation all over again. I already did not feel welcomed but him repeating the same conversation was the last drop. I feel like one star is a very accurate representation of my experience.

Ever since this restaurant opened it is a main staple of mine when I visit Greenville! The people that work there make the visit so much better than the food, and the food is fantastic! The bangin shrimp is one of my favorites! And the deserts are out of this world! Great food, great atmosphere and great people! If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner I would highly recommend Coral!
