Oof, where to start with this one.S&S has been one of our favorite places to come eat in Greenville for years now. Reasonable prices, good food, and stellar service especially Olga and Isabel. Sadly this place has been going down hill.The menu line has not worked several times in the last month. Calling to ask if they have something is often met with attitude.Next kitchen has issues, sometimes food just doesn't show up and no one seems to care. Once we came in at 11, my whole meal was backordered since nothing was ready. Waited 30 minutes for twice baked potatoes and garlic bread and finally just left and got items removed from bill. White shirt glasses guy (manager?) didn't seem to care. Meal was chicken tenders came after my wife was done eating and a drink. Nothing else showed. A good/caring manager would have gotten at least a substitute meal or something to go. Maybe even offer to comp it. We got nothing except a waitress who felt bad for us. This also sadly was not a one off.Decor outside holidays which are well decorated is getting quite old. Place needs a serious remodel, carpet, wall paint, tables etc.Lastly we traveled 45 minutes here once and no joke the place was closed for football. Maybe mount a TV in the kitchen if it's that important.Understand, I love this place and want it to succeed. I Just know it might be time to shake up the management staff here if any corporate guys are reading. Standard are sliding and folks are getting complacent.

I’m new to SC, so I was relieved to see a cafeteria in the area. I’ve been here twice, just to see if the same thing was going on or a bad day was happening… This place does NOT make the food look fresh on the line. BOTH TIMES, the food had been sitting and crusted over. Server had an attitude because I wanted fresh food… Nothing looked vibrant and tasty and that pressed Mystery Beef, please do away with that brand. I’ve had hospital chopped steak, that was better than that. Find out where K&W was getting their meat. The manager was behind the line, eating a roll and talking to the employees. No one wanted to freshen up the food that was sitting there. This place could be decent, but make the food look appealing and try a different vendor for the beef.

Inside is great! The to go shop needs improvement, or just more workers manning the front. Waited about 10 minutes before anyone even came out to acknowledge we were even there. I don't recommend ordering to go if you're in a hurry.

My husband and I always enjoy S &S Cafeteria. The food is good, and the people are friendly. Their pies are special. Even when there's a long line after Sunday morning church, there's always enough room to find a table or booth. Update: S&S is still a favorite place for us--good food, friendly people. We usually dine in, but takeout is good too.Features: The tables are far enough apart, and they are cleaned between customers.Parking: Parking is beside and behind the building. If at first the lot looks full, look a little farther behind the building for more free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: It's totally wheelchair-accessible except that someone needs to hold a couple of doors for you. But people are always kind and hold the door for even someone with a cane.

As soon as you walk in the door you smell the goodness, it’s like if Nana was cooking Sunday dinner. Then the ladies greet you with welcoming love! Olga the waitress is a doll amazing,excellent service extremely attentive. Amazing food!!! A must visit!!!
This place sucked. If ur gonna copy another place a business u should always try to do better then the main lace and this place was only getting 1 star because rhe cashojt lady was nice other then that it's nit worth the time or money

Not many cafeterias left. Plenty of salad and dessert options plus the regular and daily entrees and veggies. Waitress kept our ice tea glasses full and very helpfup.

The staff was very friendly. I've experienced Southern Cooking all my life, and even though it wasn't close to home cooking, it's pretty close.It's not like other restaurants, where they are basically unwrapping and reheating Sysco products, this place seems to take real ingredients and makes dishes in house. There were so many selections, I ended up over spending and it seemed I needed 2 people to carry my tray.Thanks to the waiter at Sticky Fingers for recommending it.
