Very few Mexican restaurants in the area; This is a really good restaurant. Excellent food. The mesquite steak has a wonderful flavor. Chicken enchiladas were scrumptious. Having grown up in South Texas, I found this place that might as well be in Nueces County. Next time I will try the seafood. Muy Sabroso!

This place is just great, the people working went out of their way to check on us and were on top of things at 7pm on a Friday night. Had a little bit of everything and came out hot and fast. May not be a total 5 star but we will definitely be back for sure and encourage others to try it if you haven't already been.
We enjoyed the food. The chips were hot and fresh. Salsa was very mild, so we asked for the hot one. Excellent! I got taco salad, my husband got the sampler plate, lots of food! Our waiter was excellent. Prices were very good. Definitely will return.

The chips and salsa were pretty good. I will say that the portion size and prices are a bit smaller and a decent but more expensive than other Mexican places. The food is good but it's pretty standard for Mex places.The salsa is like a 1/8th of a de-seeded jalapeno in spice and the chips are crispy and they give you a lot which is good because they don't really refill them unless you ask.

My husband and I have been long time patrons. We went Monday night at 8pm to find that two thirds of the restaurant had already been shut down. I cannot sit in the front section due to the smoke in the bar. I asked to sit in the rear as always but was refused because it was already cleaned, an hour before closing time I might add. I have asthma and cannot be around smoke. I was very disappointed with their lack of service. We usually frequent this restaurant at least two times a week. I will never go back. I was treated very rudely when I asked to sit in the back away from the smoke. I guess cleaning one table again was just too much to ask.
