We arrived at noon with a noon reservation for two. We finally had drinks and our food order placed at 12:30 (from an abbreviated brunch menu). The food arrived 40 minutes later, and another 30 minutes later got the bill, only to learn we were expected to pay cash. The food was mediocre for a luxury price (but it did arrive hot). Downtown Greenville is hopping on Saturdays, so this service is puzzling. We were not alone... some customers walked out. We might have too if there had been another 10 minute delay -- we barely made it to curtains-up at the Peace Center at 2.

Our company had an event at this location. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I follow Doctor Caldwell Esselstyn's diet, so the only thing I ate was one brownie bite. It was very good! Others at meatballs, crab dip, lamb, and other meat and vegetable dishes. Seating consisted of mostly small, high-top tables that seated two people with one or two with 4 seats.I believe our section of the restaurant was closed for our event. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive to keep beverages filled.

We visited Sobys to celebrate my 70th birthday. The food was excellent. I ordered the Swordfish and my husband had the fried chicken and they were cooked to perfection. The Service was excellent and the attention to detail exceeded our spectations. This is one of our favorite restaurants and we always enjoy the atmosphere.

Great! We ordered the special swordfish and duck, super delicious, and also ordered the snapper, love the sauce. For dessert we had Apple cheesecake and vanilla mousse cake (must try).Good wine list!

So glad we walked by Soby’s in Greenville, South Carolina. We were starving and decided to have brunch! So glad we did!!! We had a few bloody Mary’s - they were so good. Definitely house made and came with blue cheese olives, celery, bacon and I added shrimp- delicious!!! We had the pimento cheese dip- some of the best I’ve had. Perfect texture and flavor! We also had the short rib hash bowl! It had so much short rib and perfectly cooked potatoes and a nice sized portion!!! Soby’s had a beautiful outdoor patio that was very dog friendly! Also a huge thank you to our server Santiago! He was incredible- very accommodating, swift and friendly! He was so knowledgeable of the restaurant and menu! What a superstar!!! They also had the biggest wine list I’ve ever seen!!! Amazing! Thank you Soby’s!

My husband and I entered out of curiosity, we liked the atmosphere and decided to stay. I ordered two drinks, a mimosa and The Lady Diana, both really delicious. We ordered an appetizer plus the two main dishes, and we really liked it. We will be back.

We passed by while they were closed between lunch and dinner service. But the staff welcomed us to enjoy their outdoor seating area and a server even brought us ice water and refused to even accept a tip. I can't wait to come back and try the food sometime. Thank you. Heather!

We loved the atmosphere! We sat at the bar and loved watching all the drinks being prepared. Our appetizer and main dishes were excellent. Our cocktails were also sweet and rich. We will be back!

Have been three times now with family and others, this is probably my favorite place to eat in Greenville. Crab cakes and short rib are the standouts. Cocktails are good too.
