I just left this restaurant and ordered food to go. First when I arrived I pulled up to their drive thru window. I waited for almost 10 mins, eventually beeping my horn repeatedly hoping someone would come to assist me and no one ever arrived. Also there are no signs on the window saying they don't use it. I then go inside and ask the bartender if they use their drive thru and he says no, they have never used the drive thru window. I recommended that it would be helpful for new customers if there was a sign saying to come inside instead and he rolled his eyes dramatically and just stated "none of our customers have ever tried to use the window", which I'm sure is a lie. He spoke to me and looked at me as if I was dumb for trying to use the window and make that recommendation. I requested to have ranch with my order and he said sure and walked off as if he was getting me some to add to my order. When I got back to work there was no ranch, but I'm not surprised. The energy in there felt like if you aren't white or a regular customer, then they don't need your business. It's sad because I really felt like they had the best burgers in Greenville but due to that bartender and his rudeness I will never give them a penny out of my pocket.

The Flats is an unassuming looking bar from the outside but the inside has everything for a great neighborhood bar.The kitchen staff are putting out killer monthly specials. The bartenders and wait staff making you feel right at home. Loved it!

A little after 5 on Saturday. Got drinks in reasonable timeframe. Left after waiting a long time for wait staff to return. Seemed like person taking orders may have been in the weeds. However, another person running food appeared capable of taking orders but did not and no other employee bothered to step in and help.

Oh my! Hands down the BEST burger I've had in a long time. It literally made me tear up from happiness :) The meat was so tender and juicy, and the taste was amazing. We will be back for more for sure!
