The food was excellent, but a staff member accused us of sneaking into a concert without paying when we were trying to leave the restaurant. She didn't apologize and was very rude about it.

We had the welcome party for our daughters wedding this past weekend. The place has a really cool vibe to it. Good communication concerning setting the plans. When we got there, the food was already out and ready for us. The staff was wonderful and fast with drink orders for our guests. All food that we didn't eat was boxed up for us to take home. Overall, a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!
Used to love this place, but the food and cleanliness have taken a massive hit. The food used to make sense for the atmosphere, now it's just a boring assortment of American pub foods and the only remnant of the English style they used to sell is fish and chips. What we did get was fine, nothing special, but one of us did end up sick from the rancid ketchup. Should've taken the lidless top with crusted over gunk as a warning. The fries/chips were a let down, mine were over 1/4" thick slabs of undercooked, if not raw potato, my partners were more edible. We got friend green tomatoes, but it should be renamed to fried green tomato, because we got one tomato, cut into 5 thick slices, and while the fry on them was good, the thickness made them hard to enjoy. $12 for a single haphazardly cut tomato with pimento cheese that has stale skin from being left out uncovered still on it is not appetizing. Even the decor picked up some odd pieces that don't match the old school English pub style, and it makes the space disjointed.
I sincerely hope this place makes a turn around. We've come here for a huge chunk of our lives, from birthdays to our second date and even our wedding we came in after our reception. The food used to bring a tear to your eye it was so good. It was an amazing spot, they had carefully curated the decor and food and now it's just a disappointing memory.

Tipped a $1 after the bartender spent 3 minutes visibly annoyed to pour a few shots (not even mix one drink) and everyone threw a fit, including my friends.
Yet if you tip a line worker after a 16 hour day getting power to your house after Helene everyone would think your crazy 🙄.

Walked in at 11:25 AM on Sunday Sep. 22nd, (they open at 11) hoping for some Fish and Chips and French Onion Soup, both of which have been excellent in the past. We were the only ones there, which was fine with us, but the only wait person in the place stumbled over from the far end of the bar and literally threw two menus on the bar where we were going to sit, without saying a word or even looking at us. They then proceeded to stand there rubbing their eyes, as if we had just awakened them, which we may have. Needless to say, we left. Not the first time the wait staff has been less than happy to be there. It’s a shame.

Walked in around 3:30 when there was just a few people in, no hostess, and the staff sat at the bar and ignored me and my girlfriend. Tried to go to the bar and get and drink and they just acted like I wasn’t there. Place has a weird atmosphere and non existent service
