We had planned on using Denise for a party in August. She had corresponded about meeting with us and changed the date once. On the scheduled day we drove over an hour to meet with her. She was a no show and would not answer the phone. We drove an hour back home.Wish YOU would have contacted us before we wasted our afternoon. Bad business! We did try to contact you multiple times before I left a review. And we still don't have a message from you.We still never received an apology or acknowledgement that she wasted our afternoon.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I contacted several caterers for my niece's wedding. Chef Denise and James were by far the easiest to work with. They had no issues adding/subtracting from their stated menu, where others absolutely refused and were rude about any changes. Chef Denise stated she would do her best to make brides day the best day ever and she did. We had the taco bar which was delicious. Their homemade chips were to die for! All the guests were complimentary on the food. We had chicken and mac & cheese for the littles and my great niece told her grandfather it was the best mac & cheese ever ☺. The staff was very professional and friendly. James checked with us numerous times during the reception to make sure everything was as expected. I could not be happier with the food, service and pricing. Thank you so Much to Chef Denise, James and the staff for a perfect evening.

The beef and chicken were wonderfully seasoned, but the biggest hit were the homemade queso, chips, and guacamole! When we arrived to pick up, everything was ready to go! Southern Palate catered a retirement party at our church in Western NC. The food was excellent! We ordered 4 different "small bites" and loved every one of them. My favorites were the Spinach/Artichoke dip, and the Shrimp and Grits Shooters were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I heard people say that was the best thing they've ever eaten! Denise and James were very professional and quick to respond. Great experience! Thank you both so much for helping to make this celebration extra special!

Everything was amazing from communication, pricing, service, to food quality.We used Southern Palate for my son's rehearsal dinner of 65 people. I knew what atmosphere I wanted but had no idea how to achieve it. I was on a budget. I called several places, some didn't respond, others weren't friendly after realizing I wasn't spending a fortune.I emailed Southern Palate one evening and the next morning Denise called. She never made me feel uncomfortable (cheap) when talking about my budget. She found a way to make everything perfect within my budget!!!She responded immediately to questions and details. She guided me through details I had not thought of.The food was amazing. Everyone was impressed. The quality, the taste, and the setup were perfect! There was more than enough food, no one left hungry.The team was efficient and thorough.Denise also guided me emotionally through my first son to marry :) and made sure she was at my event!
