Yum yum yum. What a great brunch. Food and Service were outstanding. We sat on the covered patio area, and it was so relaxing and delicious.

Great visit only draw back was breakfast it left a lot to be acceptable. The rooms were very nice and the location great. We found it very easy to find, the staff was very help full and accommodating.

We have stopped at many small town hotel and we usually don't expect too much. This one was one of those exceptions. STAFF: Late check in was not a problem for Jerri at the front desk. She handled it like a professional, was full of information about the area and was very friendly. At breakfast the attendant was attentive and replenished items regularly. ROOM 325: Was clean, although it did have some minor cosmetic issues. I honestly believe this is the type of thing that would hold this hotel back from being a higher category hotel. The front staff in the morning was very attentive to write down the items I told them about and I hope they have them taken care of. HOTEL: Was clean and felt welcoming, the lobby looked and smelled fresh and was well planned. Gym was more than adequate for our needs and also was clean and smelled fresh. LOCATION: Coming off I-95 it was a bit of a hike, but well worth it. We would do it again. Easy to find if you follow the GPS. TOWN: We walked around the town early Sunday morning. There are plenty of nice little restaurant and shops within walking distance. There are two museums, Coker University and an indoor softball park very close by. If we come back I would definitely do some exploring. I would like to mention that on Sunday morning 10/27 we did observe and were alarmed by two police cars that came plowing down S 4th Street and crossed Cargill Way. The first police car did not have his siren on, only lights and he did not even pause when he went through the intersection. The second police car paused at the intersection and then turned on his siren. This was the ONLY thing that made me feel unsafe in the town. While it has nothing to do with the hotel itself, I hope the hotel manager bring this to the attention of their police chief. I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel.

I was here for 10 days, the weekend kitchen staff is slow and seemed everything you asked was a bother. The air conditioning in the rooms needs leaned as there is a stale smell. The cleaning ladies were excellent and the early morning weekday staff was polite and respectful. I have used this hotel for the past several years, but the building needs attention.
