After spending a week in Hilton Head and frequenting many of the local restaurants, would have to say Alfred's was our favorite. So much so that we ate dinner there twice and both meals were amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, served piping hot and with a delicious sauce. The German platter is fantastic, and don't miss the potato pancake appetizer. Alfred's delivers where too many restaurants fail - phenomenal food & service.

We always save Alfred's for our go to dinners out! It is always special! Last night, once again was fantastic. First, Trent gave us superior service, didn't rush us and was very attentive. We missed seeing Linda and Heath .... But chefs preparations last night were tasty and delicious! Thank you again for a fantastic night out with friends!!!

This was the first wine event that Alfred's has done this year and it was one of the best ones they have ever had. The food was excellent and the wine was wonderful. I hope they do many more in the future. We have always enjoyed going to them.

Everything was outstanding except for the cheesecake and the Honeybird cake. Both were way too sweat. However the homemade apple strudel was delicious. The quality of the food and generous portions were fantastic.

Our first visit won't be our last. The restaurant was bustling and smelled really good! My husband had the mixed German platter and I had the pork chop. The main and sides were delicious. Our server was attentive. Considering the cost of food, I thought the prices were fair. Highly recommend.

Excellent, visited Hilton head and savanna for different dinner plans each night. Unfortunately Alfred's was the last night or we would have gone there 3 nights Needs spe sort of sign!

Food and service were very good. Excellent flavor, prepared and brought to the table hot. Service was attentive. The ambience is strip mall, resort town basic but because the food and service were quite good it gets a 4...enjoy!

MY FRIEND AND I ORDERED WEINERSCHNITZEL......WHICH WAS POOR. IT WAS DRY......TOUGH TO EAT......AND I DID TELL THIS TO THE SERVER. HE REPORTED TO THE KITCHEN, AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT "POUNDED" ENOUGH.....BLAME WAS PUT ON PERSON ASSIGNED TO THAT TASK. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE WE WERE LOOKING FORWARD TO VISITING YOUR RESTAURANT FOR THE FIRST TIME. LEFTOVERS WERE TAKEN HOME FOR MY DOG. SORRY....BUT I WANTED A NICE GERMAN MEAL! Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. Small place where I'm sure table turnover is a must, but we were never rushed. Our server, Trent, was attentive but not overbearing. Definitely suggest making a reservation of you plan to go.
Attractive, comfortable dining room serving quality entrèes.Would not say this is a German eatery, but more of a European dining experience.

We have experienced German food many times, but we never realized it could be as good as it is at Alfred's. My husband had the Mixed German Plate. I had the Veal Schnitzel. We shared the Potato Pancakes for an appetizer. We would have had Apple Strudel for dessert, but we were stuffed. All were excellent, as was the service. It truly was German food from a different realm than from where we have previously experienced it. My only criticism is that the restaurant is quite small, the tables are close, and the noise level is a bit loud. No matter, we will be back.

What a menu, had a hard time making a self Service was outstanding, Alfred's has the feel of a nice European restaurant. We will be back. We been coming to Hilton Head since 1982 and hard to believe we just discovered Alfred's from someone we played golf with

This was our second time dining at Alfred's and both times the food was truly amazing. The best meals we have ever had on Hilton Head Island! The mushroom soup is delicious! Our server, Catherine, is a delight and the owners are very friendly. It's my number one choice now for a wonderful meal with friends.
