Please Don't pay attention to the negative reviews! From the moment we were greeted by Ashley and her infectious smile?, to Tricia our amazing server?? Kushal behind the bar popping the bubbles for us??, Marvin helping everyone, and Mustafa keeping everything moving smoothly, Frinha (SPL?) serving us poolside. And Darko stepping in for our return ?Just a great friendly vibe and staff that feels like family. And make no mistake, the food was awesome, served hot and faster than I would ever expect. Get the crab cakes and the dumpling soup!But if they are busy, which happens from time to time, please have patience for the human beings who are trying to help you out. Be nice and it always comes back to you.Thanks again from Lauren and Joe, you guys are wonderful ?❤️?

The server, Emina, made the dining experience exceptional. She knew the menu, was attentive, and pleasant. We would request her again. The atmosphere was calming. I had the Misso Sea Bass and my daughter had the Chicken Milanese, both we’re beautifully presented, flavorful, and delicious.

Initially two stars for the personnel and the ambience. Otherwise, improvements are needed with the food quality, and the unsanitary conditions, i.e. flies that were in more than one section where I sat. Will start with the positive. Went by Blue to check the lunch menu and was greeted by Oliveira. She provided aid to go menu after I said, I wasn't sure if I was going to eat there, and advise that I could order from my room. Decided to go for lunch, and was greeted again and seated instantly. David was my server and very polite. He had to clean off the table because it was still not clean from the previous diner. He shared his suggestions on items that I questioned, and saw the answer if he didn't know. I ordered a light meal since it was late. Pair the she crab soup with Boom shrimp tacos. Both items were relatively tasteless! She crab had a consistency that is hard to describe, but was saved by the few pieces of well-seasoned crab meat at the bottom of the soup. Decided to give Blue a 2nd chance due to proximity to the beach and location within Marriott where I stayed. Opted for the lobster roll sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries. Delicious! So fresh - as if caught that day and served on a soft roll. The fries were good too - not burnt or covered in sugar! Enhanced more so by beach view. Also Olivera and the other members of the visiting Monte Negro staff were extremely pleasant and attentive.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews in the past. This has by far away one of the better experiences on Hilton head Island. Kuldeep was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. We will definitely come here again.

Multiple mistakes in our food. Missing ingredients. No salad dressing. I got a salad! Burrata was pretty solid...... no oozing at all. Waitress was so lovely I wish I remembered her name. Chef stood by his salad (that was incomplete). I could have made both of our salads (family member) at home so much better. Employees at the bar were chatting and using their phones in the corner. For a pricey hotel, this failed!

MERT was an awesome server. He catered to all our needs and made sure our drinks were perfect. Great drinks and awesome ambience.
We ate here while we were staying at the Marriott Resort. The ambience is superb with great views. However, the service was pretty slow and the taste wasn't great. The server wasn't able to help us with questions related to the wine menu. Ambience - 5/5 Service - 3/5 Food - 4/5

Horrible service. It took 45 minutes to get our food and the server never came back to even fill our waters. We told him there were multiple mistakes in our food and he said sounds good and walked away. The manager completely ignored us after saying he’d take care of it. On top of the bad service the food was disgusting like borderline inedible.

Food not worth the price at all. Waiter had us sitting at the table while he was at the empty bartending station, cleaning glasses and whatnot.I'll give them credit; they made me a custom salad when I asked, but unfortunately when I got back to the room, I didn't have all the toppings I asked for.Moreover, we were in a rush, and we had to leave to get to an event so I didn't have time to correct them.Only ate there so we could have something in our stomachs for the event. Did absolutely nothing for our stomachs, and it wasn't worth the price at all.

Wonderful food, great atmosphere and the manager is very attentive. In laws stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and we dined with them at the restaurant 2 nights. Though it felt very upscale they were very sweet to our 5 children, ages 4-12. Food was pricey but good quality and delicious. They had an extensive drink menu with lots of great choices. The manager, Joe, visited to chat with us both nights and brought over a huge ice cream sunday for the kids on the second night. Definitely recommend this place.
