Great food. A very attentive wait staff even though they were short staffed. Fun decor, even though we are Penn State fans.

ordered 2 slices pizza and coke 0, had a bike with me, so I told the man who took my order I will be sit outside. later asked him if i could sit inside cause pretty hot outside. he was very friendly and agreed. I just sat down, a white woman came to me and she frankly said" you can't sit here if you ordered take out", she was very rude with an attitude. The restaurant was almost empty. So I left the restaurant, negative experience!

Ordered 16 inch cheese pizza on line . Got a time to pick up at 6:50 pm. Sent my husband to pick it up. The gave away another customers pizza as my husband was in line waiting for ours. I was on the phone with him and he told me the girl at the front kept walking away. He finally told her that I ordered on line . Her response was, she must have done it wrong. So why did it give me a time if I did it wrong . Greasy customer strict there. Didn’t offer to make us another one . I was so furious I told my husband to go somewhere else .

Always go there during happy hour and sit at the bar! The bartender is excellent, when she sees us walk in she'll have two cold beers waiting for us. Pizza is good. It's a Ohio State Bar but I won't hold it against them!

We have eaten at here many times over the years. The last few times, we’ve noticed the pasta sauce has been very bitter. Tonight, we both had chicken parmigiana and neither of us could eat the pasta. Needless to say, we will not return soon.

We sat there forever. We were barely acknowledged. Sat there forever after we were given menus. Nobody came to take our order. We sat there forever some more, and still no service. What a disappointment to waste our time like that. We went to Frankie Bones instead. It was really good there at that restaurant.

We have made this our favorite place to eat when traveling from Ohio. But the four of us always ordered your delicious eggplant parmigiana. Very disappointing to find that you don’t have it anymore!!

This was a take-out order. We are in Hilton Head Plantation and felt like a rare indulgence in pizza. Mangiamo's was nearby and was highly reviewed, so I called to place a take-out order for two 12" pies - One regular with pepperoni and sausage and the other a white pizza with mushrooms. We dislike floppy, undercooked pizza cru, so requested them cooked "well-done, but NOT burned - we just don't want floppy slices." We were told they'd be done in 30 mins. My phone shows I placed the call at 4:34pm, so pizzas would have been ready around 5:05. My husband wanted to be there as soon as the pizzas came out and also to get the vibe to see if we might want to eat there in the future, so he left for the 12 min. drive right away. When he got there he decided to add 2 cannolis to our order (and they were quite good!) He said he paid for the food as soon as the pies were brought out and left immediately to come back home. Pies arrived home at 5:28 and I eagerly opened the boxes to see charred black, super-thin crusts on both. I picked up a piece of the white pizza and it was stuck to the one next to it and both lifted up together as if they were crackers dried together. It was room temp. and I tasted nothing but char as I crunched the first bite. My husband said the meat pie wasn't so bad, so I tried one of those pieces, which was similarly cracker-stiff and cold. It wasn't as bad as the white pie only because the thin, dry coating of sauce masked the burned char taste better than the tasteless white pie. Not even a hint of pepperoni or sausage flavor, which was just bizarre. Neither pie had any evidence of anything resembling cheese left on them. I'm sure they sprinkled cheese on both, before gleefully incinerating away all the moisture in the ingredients. However, there was no evidence that cheese had bubbled or ever had a hope of being a gooey, stretchy bite of something remotely like cooked mozzarella. There were barely any of the ordered toppings on these two pies. I've never seen such a dried-out, zero-visible-grease version of pepperoni pizza in my life, much less one that was supposed to also have a full serving of sausage on it. Our pies looked nothing at all like the photos in reviews. Apparently, their in-house pies come out better than take-out, who knows? Our pies seemed to have been mad by someone who did not care one bit about whether they would taste good. Were they punishing us for daring to request the pizza of our imagination - one that would firmly support a delicious mouthful of our toppings for a decadent indulgence in our unhealthy choice for dinner, "but not burned or blackened?" Well-done should not mean burned beyond tasting good. Lessons learned: 1. Don't order "well-done" pizza from Mangiamo's. 2. Unless you like vey thin crust, don't order from Mangiamo's. 3. If you really want to taste your toppings, order "extra" of what you want from here. 4. Don't expect a decadently garlicky and cheesy white pizza from Mangiamo's - it seemed to just be a pizza without any tomato sauce. 5. If you want hot take-out pizza, don't order from Mangiamo's because the thin crust didn't hold any warmth after a 12-minute drive; our pies were extraordinarily hot at one point. 6. They have good cannoli, which seemed to be freshly filled and not a big soggy. Zero complaints. Did we bother taking them back or calling to complain? No. It was completely disappointing and discouraging at the time and who wants that negative experience? I anticipated they would say, 'Well, you ordered well-done and that is what we made.' Who wants a pointless conversation after such a sad let-down and then being faced with figuring out a different dinner? Anyway - since I've been ruminating about it a bit this morning, I decided to warn others. It may well be possible to get tasty pizza here, but the good reviews are probably from people who ate-in and perhaps didn't care much about potentially floppy slice
