We are here on vacation and we love this place so much that we (so far )have been there the past three nights for dinner! The variety of dishes they have is amazing! Between the two of us we have gotten something different every night and all six dishes were outstanding and the amount of food they served was very impressive! We honestly will probably be back tomorrow. The atmosphere is great and ALL the staff were amazing and you see great team work in all the staff. We were especially happy with our waitresses Carrie and Stephanie!!! Oh prices are very very reasonable ! Thank Mixx on Main for an unforgettable meal.

Three grand-adults plus two hungry & energetic teens, made our way to the Mixx on Main. Had a bit of a wait, but it was worth every minute. The staff were knowledgeable, very friendly, and went out of their way to never say no. Two fried Shrimp plates, one large, one small. One grilled Sea Bass. Two different Taco plates which totally satisfied the young folks. Great appetizers. Great refills on all the beverages. Victoria, our server, did an excellent job. We'll be back. Thank you for the great food and great service.

Just did a carry-out order (July 2002). When I placed the order, was told that food should be ready in 10 minutes, so I hustled to get there, arriving about 15 minutes after I had called in the order. Food was not ready, which didn't shock me. What did shock me was that the kitchen and wait staff appeared to be in disarray; constantly arguing among themselves (about orders, etc). I was told they had a lot of "new people" working, and were short staffed. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I expressed my dismay about the delay, but got no condolence, explanation or compensation (hey, maybe a free drink at the bar would have helped) - I just had to stand there waiting. So, the initially promised 10 minute wait became a frustrating 50 minute wait. The kitchen/wait staff issues finally led the Mixx restaurant to turn away customers because the kitchen could not get food out. This may be a decent local restaurant and watering hole, but they need to get their kitchen act in order so the dining experience is not an exasperating disappointment.

MIXX on Main is one of my favorite restaurants on Hilton Head. I’ve had numerous different meals. The portions are generous. The menu has a variety of choices to choose from. The service is very good. Mixx is located at the north end of Hilton Head which is away from the busy tourist area.

They had a table available for our party of ten. Amazing mix of entries for every taste. Service was fantastic, food was unbelievable! All ten of us enjoyed our meals. Our next visit to Hilton Head will definitely include a stop here.

This restaurant was a shot in the dark. We just used trip adviser comments and didn’t ask any local about the restaurant. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Philly, a chicken wrap, and patty melt. Hubby loved the Philly. Son and daughter loved the spaghetti and wrap. The patty melt was okay enough. Fries are good. The atmosphere overall was good. Restaurant is nicely decorated. The only issue we had was the lack of professionalism with the wait staff. The place looks a little upper scale. It’s no McDonalds. It is a tad pricey. So, we just expected the staff to act differently. They were loud and somewhat inattentive when they were not busy. It was just a little disappointing. It was a nice enough experience but if given the opportunity to go back, I’m not sure if we would.

Stay VERY FAR AWAY. They serve chicken parm (worst EVER) and chimichangas. The menu should have been the hint. Seriously, I feel bad for Italy that this place exists and claims to serve chicken parm. Horrible.

One of HHI's hidden gems! The guest service is first-class (compared to other HHI places with unmotivated, understaffed restaurants), the food is fresh and very tasty. Reasonably priced.
This was our first restaurant to eat at when we made it to Hilton Head and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the shrimp was HUGE and well seasoned! It was actually one of the best places we got seafood all week long!

Mixx may well be my favorite restaurant on the Island. The ambiance, service, food quality, and price points are excellent. I've eaten there many times, have tried different food selections, and all have been excellent. Their prime rib is about as good as it gets and the price cannot be beaten. The Mexican selections are better than most Mexican restaurants. I highly recommend it.

What a great place for atmosphere variety! HighTops, Quiet Dinning, Outside.Best Blackened Grouper Sandwich on the island. Fish Tacos are top drawer. FAST and FRIENDLY service.Your experience will be greatly enhanced with Brian as your server.I am definitely having ONION RINGS next time -- kept watching them walk by in glorious lightly battered stacks.

Everything we ordered was excellent. Probably the best cheese steak I've ever had. I tasted everyone else's dish too; we like sharing in our family. The chicken parm sandwich was dynamite. Chicken taco salad was great. And even the basic cheeseburger that our youngest ordered had really good flavor. If/when I return to HH I will make this place a mandatory stop.
