Do not come unless you have a reservation! We came on a Wednesday night at 6:30, prepared to wait if needed. After standing at the hostess stand for many minutes, a blonde woman approached and asked if we had a reservation. We said no and she scoffed at us and told us we could sit at some bar seating that faces the wall. We told her we would be willing to wait a while if there were other tables that would he available and she kind of chuckled and said “nope, that’s it.” We were kind, patient, and understanding that there could be a long wait and we were met with hostility and a bad attitude. Safe to say we won’t be back.

We enjoyed an amazing dinner at Pomodori's! Tucked at the end of a strip mall, it looks unassuming from the outside but everything we tried was delicious. Service was exceptional- friendly, helpful, and kind without being too present! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic! We love Italian food and the island has many great options, however, this has quickly risen to our favorite. The place is tiny so don't expect to walk in. 3 days before, our options for a table for two were around 500 or 745. While 745 was late, it was better than the earlier time. We were seated promptly at a great cozy table, welcomed warmly and served a carafe of cold flat water. Our server, Angie G, was great! Asked if we had been there before (had not) and were thanked for coming in. We shared a delicious kale salad (on the menu it's called: Cavolo e Pecorino. It was portioned out for us on two dishes. Lemon and a good EVOO plus some magic ingredients made for a perfect light dressing. My husband ordered the orecchiette con salciccia (with sausage and broccolini) and I had the lemon chicken over angel hair "pollo y limone." The wine list was very nice and we shared a bottle of montepulciano. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, and could have easily shared, but we each loved our choices. Great people, great meal, great place!

This is our favorite restaurant...if I could make one minor recommendation? In and out in 55 minutes. No sooner did we we out our fork down from our appetizer, our dinners were served. Just maybe slow down the service a little. That's all!

My sister and I had reservations for 5:15 yesterday. We arrived, looking forward to our dinner. The hostess of the hour promptly walked us back to the dining area, with four tables open that would seat 2.s She proceeded to take us to a table near the bar stools, so we asked for a different table by the window, and a much less crowded seating arrangment. She replied that we could not have that table, as she would be using that table with an addition of other tables for a group seating. So we sat down, and was greeted by a very pleasant waiter. WIthin a few minutes, a couple arrived and she was going to seat them at the table we requested. They told her they did not want that table, and she said, "no problem, sit anywhere you wish." My sister and I commented that this seems to happen when 2 women request a table, we sometimes feel like we get a less desireable one. Soon, here comes the hostess with food to another table. When she finished, I called her over and politely told her I had a question. I asked her why we were refused the table. She responded in a curt manner that it is all about timing, each table is set for 1 hour 20 min, blah, blah, blah. I was puzzled and said, "but the couple came in after us", and she rattled on without logic to a non industry person. Now some of you may feel this is not a warranted complaint but when we dine we want to be treated fairly with good food, comfort and atmosphere. I told me sister "let's go" (we had just ordered) and told the young woman she could practice her discrimiatory practices on others. Like a child, as we were leaving, she yelled, "Have a nice day". We have eaten here many times when visiting the island, but will not return. Restauranteurs may feel they have enough business, and that is fine, but for my money I will not participate in substandard practices.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years. Always look forward to it as soon as I get to the island. Last night will be my last time because of the hostess. She created an unpleasant experience with her attitude and rudeness. I am very surprised because everyone over the years always had the customers satisfaction at the forefront. Not last night.

I LOVE Pomodori! Wednesday I decided to try something different and go out of my comfort zone so I tried the special and had the Salmon. I found my piece of Salmon to be on the dry side. If it had some sauce to cover it or some dip to dip it in it would have be better, but it didn't. Every meal I have had there has been outstanding. I dream about their Caesar Salad it is so good. I will definitely go back again and I may try something different again, but this is the best little place and the service is outstanding and the food is always so good that I always recommend it to anyone who will listen. One piece of Salmon will not keep me away!!
As always, the food is excellent! Authentic Italian dishes at reasonable prices. Best rose sauce on the Ravioli I've ever eaten. Homemade bread served with olive oil and Parmesan to die for. Best Italian on the island.

The usual excellent food. We were disappointed that the main course came out as soon as we put down our forks finishing the appetizer. A great dining experience includes excellent food and a decent interval between courses.

We've loved Pomodori for years. This time we were a little disappointed. The food was good but not as good as we remembered it from many past visits. The service was good but we waited for quite a while after being seated to see our waiter. After the initial delay our server Cameron did a nice job. The food was just ordinary this time. I felt like the veal and pasta lacked the usual fine taste. And the veal wasn't pounded thin like it usually was. Finally the tables in the dining room were very close. Have they added tables into an already small area? My wife and I have eaten at Pomodori many times and we will eat there again. I will not let this visit affect my long term opinion of the restaurant.

We've eaten here several times and they never disappoint. This time we had the bolognese and lasagna and both were delicious. Dessert was great too. Service was almost too fast.
