Pretty disappointed with the food but service, drinks and views were wonderful.

Appreciate the staff hustle. Nice variety of dishes to choose from. Would appreciate more interesting specials and time from wait staff to recommend and explain what’s interesting.

At the recommendation of one of the couples we were with, we went here to eat. We’re from out-of-town and were hoping for some great seafood. My husband ordered scallops & shrimp. His scallops were cold & greasy. The waitress was none too happy to fix the issue but she took his whole plate back to kitchen & when she returned with it, his shrimp & potato were cold. His scallops were still greasy. My flounder wasn’t good…. Didn’t taste fresh & our friends said theirs was terrible, as well! We would’ve sent all the food back & left the restaurant but we didn’t want to embarrass the elderly couple who had recommended the restaurant. For the money we paid, we should’ve had a wonderful experience and delicious food!

If you love craft beer this is not really the happy hour for you. Instead they discount Landshark, Bud Light and some comparably bland "island rotating draft" to $4.25. The craft beers worth drinking are only a dollar off. Worse yet, they removed cans of Scoflaw Basement IPA, an outstanding American IPA, from the happy hour list. So I instead ordered a 12 oz can of Tropicalia IPA and they charged me ...$10.00. Forget this place.

Friend driving from south Florida back home to New Jersey stopped to visit and select Poseidon for dinner.I have celiac, so always searching for restaurants with options. Poseidon has an extensive gluten free menu and will take multiple visits for me to try everything. We each ordered a wedge salad. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver one to my friend. Had to flag down server. He said a second wedge salad was not ordered, but will take care of and delivered within a minute or so. The strange part is when we initially placed our order, the server read our order back to us for confirmation. The wedge salad was presented on a nicely chilled plate, which is key. Salad is well prepared and more going on than the standard wedge salad. The wedge includes tomatoes, bacon, boiled egg, cucumbers, onions and bleu cheese dressing. Well prepared and looking forward to having again soon.Friend ordered the mixed grill. Steak cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Meal was very good and crab cake was excellent.I selected the jambalaya, which is filled with plenty of items and not just a bowl of rice. The portion is on the larger side, and currently I am a tad overweight, so perfect for big boned old guy. A touch of heat at the end of each bite making it even better.A little carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake to finish it off. Both very good.A little takeaway order of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato for my boy Handsome Sammy. Three point five paws up.Definitely plan to return and begin my little journey through the remainder of the gluten free menu.To round it out, great views as well.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian selections including vegetarian short ribs.Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu with plenty of options.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu including the all time favorite, noodles, butter & cheese

Ordered take out here after getting in town pretty late. Ordered the san Francisco cioppino with pasta, crab stuffed founder and the crab cake entrée. Everything was delicious. Really enjoyed the cioppino, the seafood was fresh and they put a lot in there. The crab stuffed flounder was exceptional. Very good flavor, and the side of rice was cooked to perfection. Crab cakes were good as well

First big kudos to sitting a party of 18 when there was 4 missing from our party. The service was great. Autumn was AMAZING!! The downside was the food. The steaks had absolutely no flavor, the char on one steak was thick and crust like. They redid it but then the steak was undercooked. But thank God for Autumn and the amazing service and drinks!

This was the worst dinner we’ve had on the island in recent years. I had the broiled sea food platter and the scallops were undercooked (cold and raw), the texture of the fish was as if it had been frozen and was still thawing, my husbands steak came out overcooked, my daughters hamburger burnt (as were our “roasted” vegetables) for the cost it was subpar food at best. Why didn’t we send it back? Because by the time the server finally made it back to the table, 30 min. after the food was served we had lost our appetites.
