One of our favorite places we dined for dinner while on our first trip to HHI. We both started with the delicious beet salad and I got crab cakes for entry and husband the roasted chicken. We enjoyed both. Would go again and would definitely recommend.

Great food, great atmosphere, 90% good service but apparently I got the bad apple. Decided to splurge for my birthday. I came in early(5:30) on a Sunday night. Started off fine but waitress decided my tip (single person) wasn't worth her time. Single check in after ordering where she promised a water refill (completely empty and my only drink) that never came. Never visited my table again, but waited on her only two other tables of 4 and 2 persons....repeatedly coming back to them (at least 5 times) and even passed my table multiple times without a glance or a word. After more than 20 minutes of this...I asked the hostess for my food to go, paid and left. When asked, I told the hostess and she apologized profusely. All other staff were fantastic...this woman needs an attitude adjustment.

Lovely place inside. I had the Chilean sea bass with Wasabi cream. No taste or heat of Wasabi was present. Very disappointing. My companion had the scallops with mac and cheese. We ordered a side of asparagus to share because neither entrée menu description included vegetables. In reality, both entrees came with vegetables; the scallops came with asparagus! When I ordered the asparagus, I said to the server, "we will share." She didn't tell us we were getting asparagus with the scallops. That's $8 wasted. The live music was pleasant, although we were seated 2 feet from the performers. I was also surprised to see tables set up with jewelry for sale!

This is a must stop! Everything was amazing from the wine tasting when we walked in the door to the owner to the lovely piano player. So many great dishes! We had wedge and chopped salad, ribeye 5 stars, scallops, and fantastic Twix dessert. Do not miss this gem!!!

Four discerning (code word for difficult to please) guests: four happy diners! We ordered a variety of meals (vegetarian strudel, flounder, lobster/shrimp burger and beef burger). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choice! Our server was attentive without hovering. Nice ambiance. Live music in an adjoining space was very pleasant. We highly recommend Red Fish!

Everything at Red Fish was outstanding. The homemade blue crab dip/fresh bread & tortillas were delicious. The sea bass was one of the most flavorful I've ever had. The scallops and lobster Mac&Cheese were cooked to perfection. Excellent French Pino blanc wine!
Our reservation of 3 was seated right outside the kitchen. The room then filled with about 35 people all in the same party. They took over the room standing all around laughing, talking loud. It was a private party (even though the server said “no it isn't a private party as they didn't pay for a private party room” SERIOUSLY!) Poor management and hostess to sit us in the room with them. We ask to be moved and was moved to the main dining room where about 4-5 tables were taken. Why we were not seated in the main dining room to begin with is beyond me. The food was good not great, but the evening was ruined. We had just arrived on the island and was looking forward to a nice dinner that didn't happen. Will not return anytime soon!

Excellent dinner. Service was a little slow at first (getting drinks and appetizers in), but fine the rest of the evening. Meals were excellent -all had seafood dishes, and they were served hot - important for seafood. We'll be back again.

We had a party of 12 for a celebratory dinner. Our server was Nicole, somehow always there but never seen, amazing. EveryoneHad fish and everyone raved! Excellent decision to celebrate my dad’s 91st at Redfish!
The experience was unbelievable. My wife and I really enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be coming back.

A wonderful ambience - we both had one of the seafood specials on the menu which were both excellent- service was prompt and the ambience was really great. We enjoyed live music : piano player: and a breeze coming in from the open door. The black bean soup appetizer was one of the best we've had!

Red Fish is an excellent restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We had fried oysters as an appetizer and wedge salad we split and both of us also order vegetable strudel All was delicious and a lot of food. Wine was priced reasonably . Overall 5stars
We come to Hilton Head several times a year and this is always one of our favorite spots. We never miss an opportunity to have an excellent meal with good wine and professional service at redfish. One of the extra perks is the lovely outside seating area. It is perfect for any time of year with shade in the summer and portable heaters available in the winter months. This is probably one of the best restaurants on the island.
Great restaurant. It's on the nicer side so I would plan to be slightly more dressed up than your normal beach casual restaurant. Overall the food tastes amazing and the service is very good.
