The best restaurant on the whole island. We had a great time with the staff big ups to chef Phipps and his creatives and when I tell you the best Jamaican food we ever had. Me and my family had traveled around the world and never had anything like it. Must go to place if you passing or staying. Thank you so much the hospitality. We will see you again. To the lady that made the best sauce, and to the young lady that had my family in tears with laughter. We needed that we went through so much the night before we needed that.

What brought us in was the vegan menu, and we were not disappointed. We ordered drinks and beers. The drinks were tasty and strong. Food was delicious and large portions reasonably priced for Hilton Head island which can be expensive. I ordered the curried chickpeas which came with 2 sides. I chose the rice and peas, and the fried plantains. The chickpeas had great flavor and paired with the sides added up to a filling and great tasting meal. My partner ordered the rasta pasta which also was vegan and super tasty and filling. Recommend!!!

AUTHENTIC Jamaican cuisine. Family owned business and killing it. Food was delicious we had a party of over 13 and the small business was able to keep up and food was coming out fast. Owner even came and spoke with us. Definitely recommend as a must for all tourists!!

Great Jamaican food! Beef patty, jerk chicken and jerk pork were very good. Cute atmosphere. Visited on a Sat for lunch, and basketball games were on the big TVs.

My goodness, if you want flavor, well cook meals, nice quiet atmosphere, friendly customer service, this is the place plus more. Keisha and another young lady, I can not remember her name were the best, very polite ladies, they showed genuine hospitality. I didn’t meet the chefs in the back but I want to send compliments also. My children enjoyed their meals and wanted to go back again next day, honestly so did I. We were visiting South Carolina and would definitely go back to Red Stripes Cuisine if we went back to that side of town. We loved everything. 10 stars**********. When I walked out, I noticed a A+ from food inspection. This place is quality plus outstanding, just excellence. Now, I must say the wait for our meals were a little long but it was 5 of us. So please, sit patiently and wait, it will be worth your while. Also, you can call and place your order before you get there. Please don’t go there and give these nice people any attitudes.

My wife and I discovered Red Stripes Caribbean Cuisine & Lounge at 840 William Hilton ParkwayUnit 2, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 on a tourist's map and decided to try it. It was a bit complicated to find because it only has a small sign on the door not visible from the road. It turned out to be well worth finding. The owner is a very friendly and personable. She explained to us that the town prohibited her having a bigger sign or one visible from the road. As for the food, I ordered the Jerk Chicken and my wife ordered the Caribbean Fried Chicken The service was great and We both found the food to be absolutely delicious and highly recommend Red Stripes. We were only at Hilton Head for 3 nights and went back to Red Stripes again this evening and we both got the Caribbean Fried Chicken this time.
