Highly recommend! Travelling as a large group is tricky, but the staff was kind, accommodating and quick. We made a reservation and our table was ready! Our waiter, John was great! He was knowledgeable about the menu, got drinks and appetizers going, checked on us frequently, and was extremely personable. ALL of the food was delicious. I, personally, got the seasonal special the Sizzlin' Shrimp Stack and it did not disappoint.

Other than our waiter, this place was terrible. Do not go here. Okra was ice cold, all of our fried food tasted horrible...obviously all cooked in tje same oil, and potatoes were dripping with oil and tasted like fish. $80 FOR A SH!t meal ??? Not cool. Makes sense why nobody was there at 7pm.

3/5 because this meal was way over priced and the prices for the servings here were way out of the normal range. I wouldn't personally won't come back here just because of the pricing. That's a hard thing to say when it was a solid meal, however there are a lot of other places that serve solid, quality meals at a decent price.The food quality was excellent and service was excellent.Great $10 Mojito was spot on.I will post a photo of the receipt for 1 meal and 1 drink. ---seemed to be about 25% over priced. It's a good place but just can't make it on my recommendation list if a restaurant can't hit on all areas. It missed it, so I can't recommend....

Felt welcome right at the front door. Our family of six found something on the menu for everyone. I really liked my shrimp which were perfectly blackened plus sneaking some of my wife's greens. This is a great family place for those seeking seafood with Cajun options.

Terrific evening at Steamer Seafood! Haven't been to the island in a couple of years and an old tradition was to visit Steamer at Coligny Plaza. We found out they moved, but we still wanted to check it out. Love the new place. It's spacious, has plenty of seating inside and out, and offers live music.Our server was Max, and we found out he's from Owensboro, KY. Right away we knew we were in good hands, being a fellow Kentuckian. Max was very attentive all night, but never to the point we felt rushed. He took our drink order right away and we didn't wait long for the drinks to come out. He asked if we had any questions and easily answered the one about gluten free options for our sides.We ordered the snow crab legs and the stuffed flounder with shrimp & crab stuffing and I believe with a beurre blanc sauce. Whatever it was it was terrific. The crab legs were sweet and juicy. Just the right amount of cooking. We would order both again!The entertainment tonight was Young N Restless. Two really nice guys who played a variety of songs. They played at a level that wasn't intrusive to having a conversation at your table while enjoying their tunes. Made the evening even more enjoyable.We won't wait two years to come back. In fact, we have friends that moved to Bluffton who we'll see at least twice a year and will make sure to come back to Steamer with them. We told them they need to come over when they can and bring some friends.

I can't believe I drive by this restaurant every day and never stopped for an actual meal. This is by far one of the best places on the island!! I'll skip the waterfront view for these bull bites and excellent service directly from the owner! Their seafood their meat and even some unique items are absolutely delicious! as busy as they were that night the owner took time aside to make sure we were taken care of. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it!!!

Everything was so pleasant and it started at the front door. Our server John did an excellent job taking care of our party and every other employee that stopped by was just as great as the next. Great vibe, good music, which created a super atmosphere and the food was awesome!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. I recommend the crab legs, collard greens and grits! It was my third visit and it didn’t disappoint!
We’ve had a great experience on two separate occasions. Nice ,casual, predominantly seafood menu that’s deliciously prepared. Kid friendly. Our host, Dale, always makes us feel welcome. The outdoor space is nicely shaded. There was live music outside for our summertime visit. We’ll go back for sure.

Food was typical seafood cuisine. Well prepared. Service was excellent. Food was quickly delivered to order and piping hot. Children's menu items were limited but likewise well prepared.

There was no wait and the waitress was very friendly. However, I paid $16 for only 9 coconut shrimp and we also got 2 shrimp broils as well but they were smothered in spices and our mouths were burning. If you're a spicy person then it's for you but for the rest of us, its not worth $30.

Thank you for the best evening ever! My kids grew up year after year coming to Steamer! One just graduated college and the other a sophomore. As kids they ate off the frisbee. Tonight the owner went above and beyond to support my memories. Food was outstanding! Bartender while waiting was the best! Wait staff amazing. This is my all time favorite place! If you have little ones, please pick this place bc you will forever be glad!

Hostess was very friendly but, I don't understand all the positive reviews for this place. I'm pretty sure it's microwaved food. The veggies were more like raw than steamed. The stuffed flounder with wine sauce tasted like a microwaved entree. The red potatoes were ok. Have no idea who our waiter was and he was more interested in conversing with the next table than waiting on us. The presentation was most unappetizing as well, all the food on one small plate/bowl so that it looked kinda "piled on". When I pay $72 for a meal and that was just the entree, no drink orders or anything else, I expect a better presentation and better food. I would never go back. Too many great options in Hilton Head to waste my time, money & appetite on this place.
