After waiting on table for over an hour we were finally seated at 9pm. Menu is extremely overpriced and when the food did come out over 45 mins after we ordered it was not good and very obviously had been sitting out for a while. Cold food was warm and warm food was cold.The only redeeming factor of this place is that our server was good and management was very forgiving.

We were early so we had drinks at the bar first. The bartender was very busy but did a great job making our drinks and giving us suggestions which we loved. Our waiter was a lovely young woman, originally from Jamaica. She was very attentive and got everything correct for our party of 5. The food was enjoyed by everyone—delicious and we did not have to wait very long. We will be back soon!

Exceeded expectations. The service was excellent. The cuisine was not your typical hotel fare. Very creative cocktails, and the food was excelllent. We had the Halibut and Trout and both were very tasty. You can get half orders on the evening specials, which is a great option if your cutting caloreis or just not that hungry.We will return!
The pimento cheese/pepper spread was a great starter. The salmon was some of the best we've had. Bartender knows how to make perfect martini. Complimentary birthday treat was special & delicious

Stayed at Westin for family vacation. My husband and I ate at this restaurant for breakfast and once for dinner. Our waitress twice for breakfast was excellent, her name was Cari. Ate once at dinner and our food was delicious. Only problem was that we couldn’t find any menus online, in front of restaurant or at front desk.

Raveena was a delightful server. It was odd that the side item titled Benton's Bacon Mac and Cheese had no bacon in it. Raveena was eager to correct the situation and brought a ramekin of chopped bacon. But it was still disappointing since this item cost $8 extra and it didn't seem like the bacon was Benton's. The chocolate lava cake still had the paper under it on the plate. But again, Raveena corrected this by taking it off the bill. The best part of the meal (aside from Raveena's cheerful personality) was the Peach and Pig appetizer-delicious!

Food and service was great. My wife had the Halibut and I had the cauliflower steak. Both were very good. Server was very attentive and brought a positive energy to the dinning the experience. The restaurant has a slight echo and can sound a little more like a casual restaurant as it was a little louder due to some marble tile floors that allow for sound to travel. It was a convenient and nice place to eat when we didn't feel like driving offsite.

My first time here. I came in for a late Friday dinner. Friendly reception staff. Large hotel restaurant. Excellent service from my waitress, Raveena. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant. My food items were very good.
What a wonderful dinner experience! We were on our honeymoon and ate their on our last night at the Westin. The staff went over the top and surprised us with a custom, off menu dessert! We can't recommended the Carolina Room at the Westin enough! Thank you for everything you guys did for us! We will be back next year!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 39th Wedding Anniversary at The Carolina Room while staying at the Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island. The service was impeccable, the food was fresh and delicious in addition to being healthily prepared, our table gleamed with soft lamplight, and the view of the Atlantic Ocean added the perfect backdrop. Highly recommend the steamed shrimp and honey garlic salmon.

The staff was pleasant and accommodating but seemed to need a little more training. When wine was ordered the waitress brought the wrong selection then someone else brought the correct wine but they didn't know how to open the wine bottle. The waiter didn't provide us a taste of the wine first before serving. Thought the wine was corked didn't taste as it should. There was music and it was very loud - reported to manager and she tried to get musician to make the music softer but was difficult to do.

Food was good, not fantastic and menu very limited. Very little fresh seafood which was a strange. Our server was excellent but noticed pool servers in golf shirts and caps delivering food to the tables. Excellent bar and bartender.

Based on reviews, I was expecting mediocre food, but, the food was delicious. I got avocado toast and salmon over rice and my husband got the filet which was super tender and very flavorful. Food was a little slow to come out but the waiter was wonderful and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.
