Take out. Onion rings burned. French fries soggy. Cocktail sauce tasted bitter and like ketchup

If zero stars were possible, I would give no stars. We tried to eat here tonight and were quoted a 15 minute wait with 5 tables filled in the whole place. So, we sat at the bar to wait. We watched the manager walk around in circles and trash talk the kitchen staff, and we were never greeted. So, we left. This would be a great place for a restaurant.

Grabbed lunch here and the food was amazing! Service was quick and hospitable. Lobster was super flavorful and well portioned. Best lobster rolls on the island!

The website said they opened at Noon (3/24/24). We arrived twenty minutes early, so we hung around outside Noon came and the lights were still out.The restaurant is part of/above a pizza place so we asked the waitress if the Lobster Bar was open. She said yeah, 'They must not be here yet'. We waited another ten minutes in the open foyer...no one ever showed up so we left.Atotal waste of time.Be thankful we are honest -we could have taken every bottle from the bar and just walked out. I can't imagine they will be in business long. Also note- unless there was another route, the restaurant is at the top of a flight of stairs and not handicap accessible for those that might need it.

First off been I have been wanting to try the place as it appeared to look awesome driving by. That did not disappoint it was a fantastic clean restaurant and bar with an awesome unique floor plan and open door area. I wouldn’t call it the best lobster roll on the island however. Service was mostly good still have a couple kinks to work out before the spring break and summer rush. Overall worth the try to get your own opinion.

Met at door after long stair climb by mgr. calling me by name and escorting us our to back end institutional styled chaired table with view of bar & big screenshot of crackling fire. Rather cold interior with screened outer garage door opening, but very new & clean interior, nice bar & space. Food was more than just lobster, but Maine & Connecticut styled tools were tasty. Not large portions, but fair priced. You'd, dark skinned server was well trained, knowledgeable and gorgeously delightful! We'll be back if the elevator is completed.

Opens at 12:00 noon & we were first guests of the day. Access through door to NY Pizza & then directly up the stairs to 2nd floor. Located on parcel in front of Courtyard Marriott with a nice open air view of Celebration Park. On a February day, the manager turned the overhead radiant heaters on for us (& the "fireplace" was displayed on big screen TV) so we could fully appreciate the indoor/outdoor dining experience. Several craft beers were available; I enjoyed the pint with the Harbor Town lighthouse on it & carried a 4-pack home, too. The lobster rolls were absolutely delicious! 8oz of large tender morsels of claw meat and more nestled into bread/toast with a side of melted butter...delightful! Market price was about $32 this day, which was half as much as another nearby restaurant for same 1/2 pound lobster roll! I enjoyed the WARM Connecticut Lobster Roll, but was told the Buffalo roll was also great. The new manager is excellent & passionate about the place; he's even hosting a rehearsal dinner & wedding reception within the restaurant in coming months, which sounds fun for the guests! Be sure to give The Lobster Bar a try on your next visit to the island. I've been coming to HHI since 1982 & was excited to learn about this darling new spot near our Coligny Circle stomping grounds.

Such a great spot to see the sunset. Upstairs over NYC Pizza and hard to find. But fabulous service and amazing lobster roll. And love the music. Worth the $. Nicest people. Relaxing and good food!

What a nice quiet place! Upstairs over another restaurant and not easy to find but worth it! Excellent service and great lobster roll. Fair prices on beer and drinks. Watched the sunset and relaxed with my dinner. I'd recommend to anyone.

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant! We came here specifically for the lobster rolls and they did not disappoint. They did not skimp on the lobster and we also enjoyed the cocktails. The bar tender was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to him. He made us feel welcomed and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great experience. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Hilton Head.

We stopped in just to check out the atmosphere one night and chatted with Brandon for a minute and left. Brandon was so welcoming and pleasant that we went back the next day to check out the food and have some drinks. Brandon was so friendly. He is just happy to be working and seems to really love the owners and the vibe they are trying to give to customers. He encouraged us to relax and have drinks after we ate. We didn't feel rushed at all. It was very nice. The open air vibe is the best! We love being in the sun and feeling the warm ocean breeze. The lobster roll was perfect! My husband lived in Maine for 15 years and he was impressed!!! We visit HH a lot for my husband's job so we will be regulars just to chill and have drinks on the patio and catch up with Brandon. If I ever open a restaurant, I will definitely be stealing him to run the place!

Tough call here between 3 and 4. Was more expensive than we thought and the service was incredibly slow because only one person working the place during restaurant week. I understand market price but thought it would be between 25 and 30. Not $35. We should have asked. Our server who was the bartender really did a fine job in the situation and only because of him was it not a 1 or 2. I hope the place gets some help and succeeds because we liked the ambiance. Nice top floor, open air, place and the Lobster really tasted pretty good and was plentiful. I just read Carla C's review. Very similar. They need more staff to make it work.

It’s restaurant week .. run to The Lobster Bar for twofer’s! The roll was full and tasted as if the lobster was just cracked open. The pain killer was just perfect. ? The atmosphere warm and welcoming by the manager Brandon. Can’t wait to come back this summer and enjoy the rooftop views?
