The food was amazing - but I really came on here to compliment our server. Probably the most amazing service my boyfriend and I have had while visiting Hilton Head. I didn't catch his name, but he was a black gentleman with a bit of an accent. Even though they were very busy, he made sure we had everything we needed and was very sweet and kind the entire time. He definitely made our last night at Hilton Head a memorable one. Many blessings to him! ❤️

Salty Dog is a Hilton Head must visit. Be warned it can get super busy, so be prepared to wait - even during seemingly off-peak times. Food is absolutely amazing. Also, the restroom is super small.

This was our first visit to Salty Dog. We dined there on apps and drinks only. Everything was great! We had an excellent waitress. Her name is Claire. I asked for a specialty drink which was not on the menu and she checked with the bartender and they were able to make it for us. She was so pleasant and personable. She was very attentive filling our waters and checking frequently if we needed anything else. She absolutely made our visit!

Great experience with amazing food and service! My shrimp tacos and margaritas were to die for! And the burgers were great! I can’t say enough about our server Vakera she went above and beyond! She was kind, attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. She truly is an asset to the Salty Dog Team! Can’t wait to see you next year! Thank you from Buffalo!!

Only 3 because it suffers from success. Didn't want to wait an hour for lunch with the kids. They would have enjoyed it but they wouldn't have waited...

We really enjoyed it!! There was about an hour wait but wasn't a big deal at all as you can get drinks, sit down to wait (plenty of seating for waits) or walk around the shops and look out at the waterfront. The food was fantastic- must get the crab soup!!! Our server, Ana, was so sweet and honestly just the perfect waitress. This is also very kid friendly. The high chairs were super clean rather than typical restaurant sticky nasty. I loved the keylime pie- it was so tangy and the crust perfect.

Waited 80 minutes to get a seat. Ordered food and it took another 45 minutes to get the entrees. Food was not good. I had fish tacos. Dry, barely any sauce so it was basically flavorless. Ordered the hush puppies as an appetizer, but have had better at Long John Silvers. My wife ordered the crab boil. The crab was overcooked and dry. My son ordered some type of fish and it came with the bones and tail instead of just a filet. Not what was expected. Overall a waste of time and money.

Visited on Easter Sunday for dinner and then the sunset happy hour cruise. The food was very good as well as the service. They even had luve music on the dock. Then we got on the boat for a very nice 1.5 hour sunset cruise. Had a few beverages on the boat, watched some dolphins and the sun set. It was a very enjoyable experience.
