We had two excellent experiences--one eat-in and one take out. We truly enjoyed both meals. The menu has a nice range of options--at a range of prices (from moderate to expensive)--and all our choices were excellent. The restaurant is a little dark for our choice and the service is fine (don't have a 4.5 option)...all-in-all a great place for a nicer meal.

We dined tonight with our four year old, and upon first entering thought it might be too fancy to have our kiddo there just because the vibe was so dark and sultry! But they whipped out a kids menu and crayons and we knew we were good. Our server Izzy was wonderful from the get-go, cocktails were great, food came out fast and was delicious. The spinach artichoke dip was honestly the best I've ever had! They are very accommodating for food allergies and other needs, and have gluten free pasta and bread (the pasta was wonderful, I didn't have the bread). I highly recommend this spot!

One of our favorite meals on the island over a three week visit. We look forward to coming back again before we leave as I could eat the Napa Tuna salad every day and not get sick of it. My husband had the meatloaf, which was also really good. Drinks were tasty, service was excellent, and atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming with noise or lighting. You can relax and enjoy, talk easily across the table, and let the team take care of you for an evening. You'll leave with a smile on your face and a desire to repeat the experience.

Top notch experience last night at Truffles Cafe. The interior of the restaurant is just gorgeous, with an upscale, sophisticated feel. In spite of that, we felt perfectly comfortable in our casual attire. Our server, while new in his role, got everything right. He was cheerful, attentive, offered great suggestions and made our experience overall a memorable one. Our drinks (Paloma and Martini) were a lovely way to start off the meal. Shortly after warm bread with garlic chive butter arrived at the table, our starter of Baked Brie followed. It was baked in a flaky, turnover-style pastry crust, dotted with Kahlua-soaked pecans, and served with toasted baguette slices. Our entrees (Crab Cake and Grilled Ahi Tuna) were delicious and cooked to perfection. We wrapped up our meal with a shared slice of Key Lime pie - a decadently scrumptious finish. All of the staff here were friendly and helpful. We could not be more pleased and would definitely visit again if we return to Hilton Head. One tip for anyone who wants to make a visit to Truffles Cafe and is NOT staying on the island. There is a $9 entrance fee at the gate to enter the island and you’ll need to be prepared to pay that to enter and visit the restaurant. Thanks so much for the lovely meal and service! Would highly recommend.

Great food, but very loud. We split a nice piece of cod. It was very tasty(hold the pesto). Nice salad. They should have a few upscale desserts besides the blonde brownie. I had one at Dennys once that was just as good.
Everything was great, as always! We used to go to CQ's around Christmas, we're changing that to Truffles!

Absolutely enjoyed both meals we had here! The burger was delicious & juicy and the curry chicken salad was fantastic! And the fries with honey mustard was wonderful. Plenty of seating inside & outside and service was outstanding ?

Be prepared to spend a ton of money here! I had a seat at the bar, and my bartender was very good at keeping up with refilling my drinks! Anchovies aren't for everybody, but I do love them, so I just had to get the grilled shrimp Caesar salad! For dessert, I had something called an Oreo pie that apparently sells very quickly, so I am glad I was able to get my hands on one!
