A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.

Awesome meal....our server, Cecelia was wonderful. Food was excellent. One of the managing partners came over to express appreciation towards us dining with them..... First class restaurant

This has been our go-to restaurant until the company changed preparation guidelines. Most disappointed that the prime rib is now on a rotisserie and has the texture of boiled meat with no bark. Veggies are buried in either oil, butter, or heavy cream. No veggie-forward flavor as it should be, and the new version of heavy-cream-whipped potatoes are over whipped, which lends a gummy texture worsened by so much butter and cream. I wish they would go back to roasting the prime rib, which deepens the flavor and creates the coveted bark. It would be nice to taste the vegetables and not see fat gloss or taste food that is so full of butter and cream that it tastes more like dairy than vegetable.

My husband and I dined here on our 1st trip to HHI. The cocktails (new fashioned for him & 1513 Main cosmo for me) were prepared perfectly. He then enjoyed the French onion soup while I had the beet salad-both were delicious! For the main dish, I thoroughly enjoyed shrimp scampi served over housemade pasta & he had the 16 oz prime rib. He's eaten this particular beef choice for 35 years & said that it was the best he'd ever had! For the finishing touch, we split the chocolate pot de crème & needless to say, it was divine! Our waiter, Chad, was very knowledgeable about the menu, as well as a wine pairing for my shrimp scampi, and served us with an unhurried, delightful demeanor for an overall amazing dinner experience!

Great food and service. We went late because we got into town late and everything was super speedy, just as we like it. Parm fries are absurdly good. Steak was great. Service was excellent. Great experience all around

We had an exceptional and memorable evening with our out of town guests. The four course meal, the atmosphere and service were all impeccable. Thank you for seating us at the requested table in our reservation. That was above and beyond and we're grateful. It was a special evening. The Wise Guys staff has always been top notch and personable and they remain consistent.

We couldn't get into our usual place next door - Frankie Bones. SO - we thought we'd give Wise Guys a try. EXCELLENT!!! Wait staff were delightful. Lovely atmosphere. We opted for various “small plates”. Presentation was very good. A most enjoyable evening. Who needs Frankie Bones?!?!?!

Prime rib and chicken parm were excellent. The Marguerite pizza and New York strip were just okay This is the first time that we have gone and had an average dinner. Our server seem to forget us at times. Had to request items several times. We have had this server before and he was always very attentive. So not quite sure why he was not on his game last night

We arrived at 5:25 and were told we were in time for the Early Bird Special. So we decided to order from that menu. Our waiter brought us our water and then disappeared. 10 minutes later he came to take our order. We told him we'd like to order drinks first! When we brought our drinks we gave him our order. We ordered the Broiled Shrimp & Fish (3 medium shrimp), Filet & Fried Shrimp (4 shrimp)and the Surf & Turf (Filet & baby crab cake). The broiled shrimp were plastered in spices and sauce! I had to scrape off all the goop. Two of us had the lobster bisque, which had no pieces of lobster what so ever. The other entree came with a large caesar salad. The waiter never came by to ask how our dinner was until we were finished. I told him about my shrimp. He took the plate to the kitchen to tell the chef/cook. When he brought the check my entree had been credited back. Needless to say we will not be returning.

We've dined at WiseGuys dozens of times over the years. Our dinner last night was unacceptable. My wife had “filet mignon” sliders, which were chewy...not what you'd expect from fork tender meat. I had vegetable lasagna that was cold, served on béchamel sauce that had the consistency of wall paper paste. In addition, my meal was chewy. I understand that food costs have increased, but our portions were exceptionally small, with prices that were very high. Bottom line, no value. Won't return. As locals, we are quite familiar with the restaurant scene on the Island with over 220. We have lots of options. The manager comped us dessert, but it didn't compensate for the very marginal meal.

Food is 2nd best to no restaurant on the island. There are a lot of great restaurants on Hilton Head, and this one is just as good, if not better than any. There is something for everyone, and there is not a "better" (maybe as good, but not better) steak on the island.
