Came in on a Friday afternoon around lunchtime. You order at the counter, and they bring it to you when it is made. The Reuben was really good. There is just enough meat on it with perfect toasted rye bread. Good sweet tea, too. The food did come out quick, and the staff was nice. The place is right off the interstate, and there is a stop light that makes it easy to get back on the road.

Needed a quick bite between soccer games. This was a nice find. Good burgers, good sandwiches, and good portions. Kids enjoyed and adults enjoyed. Staff very nice!

I went into the store on March 2nd, and was double charged for my order. When I notified them I was double charged, I had to go back into the store to show them where I was double charged, because they claimed they couldn't find the sale. It has been almost 2 weeks that I have been trying to get my money back. I have spoken to multiple managers and gone back to the store, constantly being told that corporate has been notified and my money would be returned. I still have not heard from anybody in regards to returning my money. This was my first time at this East Bay Deli, and it is certainly my last. If a simple mistake causes this much of a problem, with no effort to fix the mistake, this is not a place that deserves my business. I still don't understand why they just couldn't give me a refund out of the register since they know I was overcharged.******UPDATE: After posting this review, I was contacted, received an apology, and refunded my money.

Ordered 3 meals one was rang in wrong and never checked on when asked to check on it. They never called it back or made it. Then had to wait and the rest of the meals were already eaten. Waited another 15 minutes for them to make the last meal. Won’t be back. No offer to correct their mistake either.

I ordered a 4-5 serving of tomato soup, which wasn’t ready at pickup time. Not only was it not ready, they didn’t have enough tomato soup. They tried scraping up whatever they could to fill my order. On top of that, my darned Grilled Cheese wasn’t melted. I can’t believe this lunch costs over $30. I moved to Irmo from Charleston and they are destroying the name East Bay Deli. I’ll never go back in Irmo.

This deli is halfway between my house and Myrtle Beach. My wife has the GPS location saved in her phone and we always stop for a reuben or a patty melt. The fries and pickles are good, too. Highly recommended.Parking: The parking is a little tight but have always found a spot.

Pricey, but quality food. Covid killed the salad bar. Cakes are wonderful as well as their breads. I would recommend the toasted reuban sandwich. A chain bit a good one.

The service at the deli is pathetic. They have one girl behind the counter actually working while the rest sit around looking at their phones and laughing. Food was fine, nothing special - would have rated it three stars, if not for the pitiful, slow service. It is a convinient location off the interstate. Normal sandwich shop atmosphere.

Used to swear by this place but they've gone extremely down hill. Bad experiences the past few times but after today i don't think we'll be back. Not only is it extremely overpriced , they mess it up 3 out of 5 times. The only time my food has been right was when i worked there years ago. I guess they changed their slaw recipe but it's so watery now and since when does coke slaw have pimentos in it? there were literally 2 pieces of pimentos in mine. i ordered the fried chicken wrap (which comes with honey mustard on it) and asked for extra honey mustard on the side, they didn't give me any on the side or even bother to put any on the wrap lol. on top of that the employees suck for lack of better words, avoid the broad river location and just make the trip to cola.

Worst hamburger ever. Ultra thin and over cooked to the point of no flavor - if not for the mustard I put on it, it would have been even worse. Also,the lettuce was completely limp and wilted with brown edges. I would have taken it back to the counter, but was traveling and did not have time to wait for another one....the first one took way too long to begin with. First and last time at East Bay Deli!!!

Almost $18 for this and a bottle of water. Potato salad was nothing but mustard, chicken wrap mostly lettuce and wraps are smaller. Disappointing

This was the best Patty Melt, I had ever had. The bread was so crunchy, when you bite into it. The burgers were just cooked perfectly. Just enough onion & sauce! It was to die for. Yummy!!! ??
