Super nice staff, sat at the bar and had an awesome conversation with the workers. Great food highly recommend!

My family and I travelled by boat from Edisto, counting on dining on your patio with our beloved family dog. When I requested our seats, the hostess said only service dogs are allowed, and never asked if we wanted to order and sit elsewhere in the marina. Thankfully I found another dog owner, who directed us to Cantina 76, where we were all welcome.Shame on you Salty Dog Seabrook! Your restaurant promotes itself with the story of a faithful dog, yet does not allow dogs on your patio.

We were looking for a sunset venue and this eatery fit the bill. It was a 35 minute drive from our hotel in patriots point.Located on John’s Island adjacent to the Bohicket marina. We had a wonderful sunset view. The ceviche was okay, the guacamole needed more seasoning. Our waiter got distracted with the only other couple on the patio, so when our brownie ala mode arrived the whipped cream was completely melted. It did taste good but I would have liked it fresh after being prepared. The outdoor seating and live entertainment was very pleasant. A very nice area, but off the beaten path from downtown.

Order 12 oysters and scored a live pea crab in one of the bites. I’m sure they are good as well but did not expect to have something come alive in my mouth. Spit it out and had him rolling around on the plate. Fun stuff

Atmosphere was incredible and can’t beat the sunsets. Food was solid but average. We had mix of seafood and other dishes.Vegetarian options: Pretty limited options for vegetarians.

Had the shrimp on skewers with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. Shrimp had a very good flavor. The mashed and medley bland as hell! They need to replace the sides with something with more flavor or kick or something. Left most of it on the plate. Paid over 36.00 with tip. Wouldn't return for this selection.

For consistent food and chain it is ok. Service is good and people are always ice. Nice view on the water at Bohicket Marina.

I have been coming here since it opened a few years ago. You absolutely cannot beat the sunset over the marina/river!! Live music by Alan Price sets the scene perfectly on most weekends. The bartender, Melody, is amazing……and don’t get me started on Dorothy!!! Dorothy has a heart of gold and her service skills are to be marveled! I love to gather family and friends here all seasons. Food is great! Crab dip rocks. Fried anything is awesome. Don’t sleep on Salty Dog!

Overall not a good experience. Very expensive for low quality food. Salad was lame. Fish & chips was just ok. Way too pricey for what it is.

Downgraded this place to 2 star after having meals in downtown Charleston.Nice view, good service, worse than mediocre food. Don’t order the $40 crab cake, it is bad.

I love this restaurant. But I was surprised today that their outdoor section of the restaurant doesn’t allow dogs. Drove out here with our tiny poodle and they couldn’t accommodate in the outdoor section. The name of the restaurant misleads and the photos on their website of dogs in salty dog gear misleads. Should clearly state on website especially since the name of the restaurant would make a patron to think the opposite of their rule.

Stopped by here for an early dinner on 3/13/24 and sat outside. We had peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer. It was very good; however be aware it is served cold which we were not expecting. Again it was very good. We also had the fish & chips using the catch of the day, mahi mahi. This was very good as well. It was not as greasy as most fish & chips I have had. I recommend this place!
