“Our first time here and it was great! Haven’t lived in the area long. I called and asked for an updated menu because the one on google was 6 yrs old and a very nice lady texted me photos of the menu & we ordered hamburger steak plates with baked beans and wedges. Chicken fries and a bird dog. Only complaint I have is wedges were not cooked long enough they were kinda soggy but everything else was so SO good.I love love loveee the baked beans. My twins loved the chicken fries. Definitely will be returning.”

“Working nearby, we stopped here for lunch based on other reviews. Don’t be fooled by the outside when you pull in, this place has some great food and what’s even more incredible are the prices. Clearly a mom and pop style restaurant with some great meals that give you that old home-cooked meal from your childhood kind of nostalgia. The staff were very friendly, and I’m pretty sure the entire town came here for lunch, but you wouldn’t know it with how quickly and efficiently they were able to serve their customers. It’s no wonder people flock to this establishment. I had the double cheeseburger, it was substantial and juicy, just how I like it. The fries were crispy and the lemonade was refreshing. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area, I don’t think you’ll regret it.”

“I did takeout. The food tastes just like how you'd expect a good quality small town local restaurant would. My only gripes are that I feel that the building needs some repairs and the equipment used inside may need a few upgrades. The staff were friendly and my order was ready when they said it would be.”

“They sell Diesel as well as 3 grades of gasoline. They sell all sorts of snacks and food inisde. They have a good hot meal menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great prices on the food too. The only thing I don't like about this particular service station ( and the other one in Jonesville) is that the diesel pumps do not offer the option to pay at the pump. It's not normally a problem to go in and pay. But when it is freezing cold or pouring rain outside, it would be nice to not have to make that trip.”

“We are moving to the area soon and tried this restaurant last night. There was a miscommunication and the owner made it right immediately. You cannot find customer service anymore but we did last night at Phil's! This will be our new favorite restaurant in the new area we call home.”

“listen I've lived all across the United states being from Brooklyn I know pizza and I've never had pizza this close to nyc pizza. the crust was perfection, the Sicilian was on point. I was amazed at how good it was. I'm obligated to return not by duty but by desire ?? if you want to have a nyc pizza experience in south Carolina you need to come and check it out. I would travel 3 hours for a slice.”

“Coffee shop during day and Live music, good selection of cold beer and wine at a good price at night on weekends. Small space but warmer weather will allow use of the outdoor area. Small town hospitality with welcoming locals. Very owner involved, and he genuinely seems to appreciate those who take the time visit from all over and chat with them.”

Asked a worker at a store, and she was kind enough to show us driving to the place, and walked right up to the counter.Back to the Food! It was fantastic. They took pride in preparation and taste, and presented to us. Though there is no INSIDE eating area, it was a great carryout. Taste and Value wise. Off the beaten path because you to have to dig to find gems. The DESSERTS are 5-STAR.If you are in the area, you deserve a treat. And get there early or be hungry! There may be a line...”

“Several trips to this local icon with consistent experiences. Staff is so nice, chicken salad has been great, and the broccoli salad is the best I've had at a restaurant. The dessert selection has been diverse and everything has been fresh. Bought local brown and white eggs there by the dozen as well.
