Awesome pizza spot on the island. Food and service were great. Specials were on point and so were the drinks. Definitely recommend it if you want some great pizza.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.We shared a garden salad which wasnt your typical salad.It had pear slices, pecans, tomatoes and cucumbers.It was the salad dressing that really brought the flavors together.Also, we shared the eggplant parmigian.Were gluten free so I didnt know what to expect. It was so good I had to verify that it was gluten free.Many eggplant parmigian are very cheesy, not this one.The eggplant was crisp and the sauce was delicious.My husband also had the chocolate gelato.It was very flavorful, obviously made in house.The service was also great .The hostess was very friendly and the waiter was very helpful .It was very appreciated as it was a busy night.

If you want carry-out, come to the restaurant at 5 when it opens. Go to the bar, and place your order right away. It will take 20-25 minutes. By 5:30, the wait will be 90 minutes. Great staff, working hard. The person answering the phone is also running the cash register and handling carry-out. Very multi-task talented. Pizza is great, thin crust, very New York style.

Wow I thought that people were just exaggerating about how disappointing this place is for locals and anyone else. It took me over 20 minutes to get through to then be told it would be over an hour for a wait for it. Pepperoni pizza. What an embarrassment. Makes me want to open up my own pizza place on the island because it is apparent they really have no idea what they are doing other than alienating locals, vacationers ect. Just stay away place is a joke.

Can't miss. The best Italian food on the Island. The ricotta cavetelli with sausage ragu is wonderful. Kim and Leia do an excellent job regarding customer satisfaction.

My daughter and I stopped in for an impromptu celebration and we're very pleased! She got the ravioli and I had the artichoke pizza and both were delicious! Our server was attentive and kind - we will definitely be back!

Tonight was simply an unpleasant experience, because of our server's unprofessionalism and curtness. Our server never asked if we wanted anything to drink when taking our order, and we ended up having to flag him down to order a glass of wine. We had a simple order, and once it arrived we could never get his attention. Well into the meal we needed water refills and never found anyone to ask. After finally getting our server's attention to give him a card to pay, he literally grabbed our credit card and took off as we were trying to ask for a box for our leftovers, so we had to get up and go to the bar to get one. At that point I tried to let an employee...who appeared somewhat in charge and who seemed surprised that I was asking her for a box...know how terrible our service had been. Subsequently I called the manager after getting home, thinking he would want to know about the experience. But with the unsatisfactory responses on the part of both, I ultimately felt that the only recourse was to write a review. We would absolutely understand a busy evening or a bad day on the part of the server, but this was not that. It simply was incompetence and unprofessionalism. Very disappointing evening at La Tela.

My family and I love this place. Great pizza and chicken parmigiana. The ambience is cozy and inviting. We always have great service. Only complaint is during vacation season expect a 2 hr wait. This is one of our favorite go to spots and wish they could take a reservation.
