We enjoyed our meal here. Very small owner run restaurant. We had 2 menues to choose from. We had one of each and shared. The meal was supper yummy. Especially starter and dessert. He recommended some nice wines too. It’s a very small restaurant but was cost and enjoyable experience
Because of the excellent reviews, we tried to make dinner reservations, but no spots were available while we were in Beaune. We then tried lunch on the following day, and food was great. There are two options offered, a menu for meat and a menu for fish. We went with the fish, which was a perfectly prepared trout absolutely free of bones and delicious. Made a reservation for our first dinner in France on the recommendation of a trusted friend and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The époisses tart was hands down the best thing I ate in France. The restaurant’s format—a one-person venture—is warm, welcoming, something I am so grateful to have experienced.
