This place was recommended for the food soo we checked it out. The decor was really nice to us and felt like a nice place to go with friends. Overall the burger was not great and lacked flavor but it wasn't terrible ( we order it to go) . I would definitely return again and try other food items. Service was good and the order taker was nice !

don't waste your time, the service is not worth the quality of food. Big empty space with no one to wait on you. They recently reduced their menu and still can't get anyo in the door.

My family and I went to the green frog this afternoon to grab some food while our house was being shown. The waiter was pleasant enough although he did not introduce himself so I can not name him here but I can say he was male, and about 5’9”ish with a nose ring. When our appetizer showed up he forgot to bring condiments. No biggie right? People forget things sometimes. When he checked back in on us we got our condiments and made our order. I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries and we ordered a grilled cheese and fries for our three year old son. Our waiter had been sat with a six top so after he dropped my food off he greeted the six top. It became clear to me at this point that something had gone wrong or been forgotten with my son’s food because kid’s food takes next to no time to make and we should have received it with my food at the latest. As our waiter was engaged with the six top and I needed my son to get some food in front of him, I approached the bartender. The bartender also did not introduce herself so I will describe her as about 5’4” overweight with dark hair. I think that I said something to her like, “kids food should just take a few minutes, right?” Now she must have thought that I was winding up to be mean to her or something because she turned around visibly rolling her eyes at me and was just short of rude to me but answering that yes it shouldn’t take long but you know the kitchen has other things going on, other orders take out etc. I was going to say that I’d really appreciate it if they could expedite my son’s food as he is three and we needed to get something in front of him. He’s a little kid.??♂️ Instead, because of the immediate eye rolling and contentious tone I just said that I thought our waiter had forgotten his food and could we please see about that. She continued to act like I was somehow out of order as she went to check on his food. At the same time my waiter concluded with his six top intro and returned to the kitchen. I then clearly heard the waiter saying from the kitchen that he had forgotten our son’s food and could they make it really quickly. We were literally the only customers in the restaurant when we walked in. It was at this point that the bartender decided to come tell us that his food was on its way and that they had forgotten. I said something like, “so I was was right to question it then, right? The bartender could barely contain her irritation with me but managed to respond semi-professionally that yes indeed they had made an error but it was on its way. My burger was under done to the tune of medium not quite medium rare. When our waiter brought our son’s food out we thanked him and I asked if it was normal policy to ask for a temperature for their burgers. He didn’t exactly say no to that but did start to try to find out if I wanted another one or for it to be cooked up or something. Although it was on the rarer side of what I can enjoy it was good enough and I didn’t want to wait so I told him it was fine which it was. I just wanted to know if I should make a point of telling them the temperature I wanted in the future. Our meal concluded without incident. I had some draft beer while we watched our son adorably eat about half of his food. I tipped the waiter ten bucks on a $52 meal and we left. The waiter gets a B+. He wasn’t the most accurate but his attitude was great and he was prompt with everything. The bartender on the other hand gets an F. I had a long day. We just wanted to get some food in front of our son. I worked in food service in a restaurant not unlike this one for four years. You always bring the kids food out as soon as possible. I thought that everyone knew that. I sure didn’t think it was unreasonable to ask about it. I wanted an apology from the bartender but I didn’t get it. I felt like the bartender just wanted me to leave. It hurt my feelings that she treated me like that. I don’t know what else to say except that I’m sure she will be thrilled to read that I will not be returning. The food was ok.

We headed to Lake City today to see the 110-foot steel cross and then headed to town to explore. We picked a Monday, and many things are not open on Monday, but this was and thank goodness! This was a great stop, the atmosphere of all the older buildings being renovated instead of destroyed gives this downtown 5 stars for us! The food was great. We had Nacho's, the tray was very large, and the cheese was on point. We also had Chicken tenders, the adult portion, this was 4 or 5 very large tenders and the sweet potato fries were the best I have had. The Hamburger plate with mushrooms, the Ceasar salad with chicken, the hotdogs with chili completed our order and all were fresh and delicious. The sweet tea was also a hit. Our waitress, Tammy was so patient with our indecisiveness and kept checking on things for us. When my Ceaser salad arrived without dressing she was so apologetic and brought some dressing quickly. I prefer it not be premixed so it ended up being a win. I would recommend this to my friends when they are looking for a nice lunch in Lake City. We went there about 5pm. Well let's just say poor customer service ? the waiter never came back with the menu. So when she finally came she obviously ? had an attitude. I had my hand out so she could hand me the menu, but of course she looked over Me and put it on the table. We left.#maybitwasthecolorofourskin. It was the color of our skin. Those young ladies was rude. 5pm yesterday the staff is horrible

The place was nearly empty yet it took nearly ten minutes for the sleepy server to show up. Food was good but nothing outstanding. When we asked the server to refill our drinks she asked us if we wanted to go cups. We didn't know we were leaving... As soon as the server rushed away, she sat down with her one coworker and started gabbing away while looking at her phone. I should not have even tipped her.
