I had an amazing experience here! Everyone was really patient and friendly! The food was 100/10!! I ordered the catfish nuggets with fries, grilled broccoli, and macaroni. The macaroni wasn’t my favorite but everything else was perfect!

Great BBQ restaurant in the heart of downtown Lake City. Order at the register and they bring your food out in a bit. Not fast food but real food so relax and enjoy your drink. Lively atmosphere especially if you visit around ArtFields which is what we did. Food was good. Enjoyed the pork ribs and pulled pork which was well sauced - not dry at all. Seasoned salt fries, creamy mac and cheese, not sweet cole slaw, well roasted corn on the cob. My wife said the catfish was some of the best she ever had.

My mother always said that if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all. We came into piggyback to get a pork sandwich. We specifically asked the girl if we could have a pork sandwich with no seasoning. She stated yes. So we ordered two pork sandwiches with no seasoning. Guess what came out. We explained to the waitress that we asked for it with no seasoning. She stated all of the pork is with seasoning. We then asked for a hamburger and a cheeseburger. They came out. Jack at least got to eat as he likes his burgers a little on the cooked side. I then went up to the counter to order a grilled cheese sandwich. It was going to be $6.00. I saw the cheese they used for the cheeseburger. Compare it to government cheese. I am not paying 6.00 for a grilled cheese. I do have to say the French fries were good. Please have your staff know how to respond to questions. Tell the cook staff to take a little time when cooking. I wish I had something better to say. The waitress did offer us a piece of cheesecake when we were leaving. I would have taken it, but we were heading back to Myrtle.

I usually get the grilled fish tacos. I’ve had them a total of 4 times. 2 out of the 4 times the fish didn’t seemed seasoned, but overall they are delicious especially with ALL of the toppings. The catfish nuggets were/are pretty good too, expect when I received a burnt batch and a salty batch.

Ok here’s the deal. This place is great: food is 10/10, customer service was 10/10, atmosphere is 10/10.If YOU don’t have a good time here maybe you should reflect on your life a little bit because if you somehow experience a rain cloud over your head here you definitely brought that in with you from outside.

Best shrimp, fish and oysters anywhere I’ve eaten. The grilled catfish was amazing my mom ordered- didn’t have high hopes but it really was delicious. The cracklings were great. Well worth the trip to Lake City.

My 1/2 rack of ribs was very tasty and tender. I also got the sweet potato fries. Nice people.Parking: Free parking lot just down the street
Pulled pork was just OK. Hushpuppies were bland. Coleslaw was good. Everything was just a little bland. Needed salt and hot sauce to provide flavor. The counter staff was very kind and just wonderful in our brief interaction.

Friday evening - place was dead - only 2 tables. I stood in line alone and was never acknowledged for 10mins as young girl took phone order then proceeded to computer then answered phone again.. finally asked me for my order… Not a Hello, Welcome etc. I wanted a gift card for someone who told me about this place. I came planning to spend some money, steak n shrimp special and drink a few beers which was just a few disappointing basic choices. I decided to just ordered a meal to go. Receipt asked if I wanted to leave a tip.. how funny! No Tip!!! Once order was ready I did not even get a Thank-You or Come Again. The burger was a nice size with good melted cheese and a nice bun but meat was dry and had some gristle. The onion rings were large and homemade but very greasy… This was going to be a nice evening out but they changed that. I had never been there before, but I had only ate from the food truck a few times. I might try them again but should get a discount if I do. They also do not mention the Credit/debt 4% extra charge. If it was posted I overlooked it !
