This was our first visit here, we are new to the area and this was the most personal experience. Owner/bartender was the best and made the experience that much better. The food is 10/10. We will be back and we will be bringing anyone that we can that is looking for a high quality meal.

Have to say I was quite shocked when I got my drink bill. I had 2 rum and soda's with a splash of pineapple in one and a splash of OJ in the other. I understand paying $6.00 for a drink it's the norm up here but was appalled by the fact I was charged an extra $1.00 for the 2 splashes of juice (.50 cents each splash) who does that? I've been in the FB industry for many years and in many states and have never in my life seen that before. Best to just charge the $6.50 a drink rather than give a break down of what your actually paying for, Really, charging extra for a mixer, unheard of and I go out quite a bit and am far from a cheapskate but REALLY!!!. I wasn't rude about it but asked why they do this when No other bar in SC or NC does it and news flash, ALL BARS pay for mixers such as juices but never upcharge for A SPLASH of mixer/juice. I must say the Bartender was GREAT and promptly removed the extra charge but the owner when asked about the charge was loud and RUDE stating " they have to pay for juices, it isnt free!!!" Well, if you are that hard up that you cant afford to give customers a SPLASH of juice in a $6.00 1oz measured shot drink then maybe you shouldn't have a bar. Needless to say I'd rather go to Hare n Hound and get my $5.50 to $6.00 mixed drink with Free OJ and Pineapple juice JS. This is just advise that you be up front that getting juice in your drink costs more or just raise your price to the actual cost I wouldn't have even questioned it.

The hostess at the door and the expediter who brought out our food were both rather rude. Luckily our waitress was super sweet and ON POINT with service and drinks refills. She really saved the evening and my first impression of this particular establishment.

Awesome drinks, food and service. Can not go wrong with either lunch or dinner. Anything and everyone for all from apps, wings, sandwiches, burgers and steaks. Serve the best bayou food outside of LA.
The hostest alone makes you want to turn away and run from this restaurant. The blond girl is not only rude but simply incompetent of her job. I been here 3 different times and each time the hostest is rude and never communicate with you. The waiting staff is slow and if you don’t look the part will not pay much attention to you. Will not return and will definitely tell others to avoid

We came for their "Mardi Gras" party with a "band". I tried to make a reservation for 6pm since I work in Hendersonville. The girl on the phone insisted on 5:30 because the band starts at 6. We arrived at 6:06 and the hostess told us it would be an hour wait! We decided to stay and have an adult beverage in the small bar. Couldn't get any service here until a lady left her bar seat for the bathroom. After standing there patiently, I finally asked what it took to get a beer. Anyway,they don't know how to make Cajun food. Everything was rice and beans or rice and their version on etouffe. The fried fish was ok. No gumbo. I was so excited to order the fried oysters. But they hadn't been cleaned properly so when you ate one you bit down on rocks, or fried sand. The band was a single guy strumming a guitar. This is definitely a place for locals only. If they don't know you they treat you differently. (Bad) Also the hostess was annoying. (Would use a bad word to describe her but will keep it politically correct) She was Trying to be sexy by whispering. I had to ask her to repeat everything twice. Not worth $25/person
