“Wow! Rootimentary is by far my favorite restaurant! The magic made by Chef Caleb in the kitchen is indescribable! From the Brussel Sprout app to the Meatloaf Wellington to the Bacon Bourbon Bread Pudding, it’s all phenomenal with a new burst of flavor and taste in each bite! The service is impeccable! Their craft cocktails are one of a kind. They have a huge bourbon and wine selection for the old fashion lovers and wine connoisseurs! I enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the chefs prepare food while having great conversations with the bartenders, servers, other guests, and owners. Jess and Caleb (owners) almost always stop and talk with customers about their dining experience. At this point, I consider them friends! The ambience, esp lighting, and decor is great! I love coming in and trying new desserts and steak, chicken, and fish preparations! It’s almost impossible to explain the elevated menu which changes often to allow explorations of your pallet! The prices are affordable and similar to restaurants in Greenville! I’m so proud that we have Rootimentary, a hidden gem, in Laurens! If you haven’t tried it, you’re really missing out on an unforgettable dining experience!!“

“If I had reviewed it 5 years ago I would have given it a 3 or 4, but tonight it deserves all 5 stars! A lot has changed and all for the better. It still has music and pool tables and occasionally live music but it has more drinks than you can count with names that drive you to want to try them all and tastes you will never forget! And the staff are great too. They go the extra mile and help you feel welcome. A yearly membership is $20.00 or $5.00 dollars a night as a guest. If it's been a while...go back. If you've never been, then you're in for a good treat.“
