My family and I enjoyed lunch here immensely. We drove from Newberry to try Luce Cucina. I had an awesome Greek Salad with Greek dressing (they include olives, cucumber, onion, pepperoncini, and feta). Add the grilled chicken breast; you'll be glad that you did. My wife had the antipasto salad with vinaigrette and loved it as well. My youngest son had an amazing meat lover's calzone (he had leftovers from a small--their dough is super flavorful and has a great texture), and it was accompanied by an excellent marinara for dipping. My oldest had the cheese tortellini. The sauce was one of the best I've ever had, and the tortellini were cooked perfectly. It came with a nice side salad and garlic bread. But you can't leave until you have their tiramisu! Obviously fresh made and a perfect way to finish a delicious meal. Thank you! We'll definitely be back soon.

Place was off the beaten path for our trip. We wanted to support local instead of a chain Italian restaurant. My daughter picked this place. We arrived for dinner. Party of 6. Waitress was very nice, but seemed to be the only support staff out front. Couple areas of note:Food- food was bad, but wasn't top tier. They claim theyake everything including the noodles and dough. Pizza was good according to my kids. Tortellini wasn't too bad. The sauce was good. My daughter got the gluten free and didn't enjoy it, but that's her fault not the restaurant. I didn't think the GF noodles were bad. I got the Luce's platter. It was fair, but again not amazing. The meatballs had a very strong beefFlavoring if you enjoy that. The menu- the menu is not up to date. Menu calls out a roasted Parmesan and cesear (sp? Caesar dressing?). When we asked for Caesar they stated they don't have one. The manicotti gives no option for cheese on the menu, it is supposed to have beef and veal, but in actuality there are no meat manicotti, it is only cheese. I didn't mind that much when I ordered, but the menu should represent the food choices.Bathroom- when I used the restroom it looked like it hadn't been checked for supply in a while. 2 empty rolls, no rolls. Needed to get assistance, thankfully before the business. They fixed it immediately.Staff- seemed friendly. Up front staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Not sure how many kitchen staff, but food came out in the expected time table.Overall it was an average visit, with average food. I'm sure if you live in the area it is a good choice. Passing through Columbia, I would find a closer joint.

This last time I went was incredibly disappointing. The portions are cheap for a meal which is expensive, toast was burnt, sauce tasted bad, my side salad was 10 small pieces of lettuce a slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber. I finished the salad in four bites. Finally got my food to realize that a meal that cost the same and was the exact except for the noodles came with an extra piece of chicken. Finished most of my meal got a stomach ache and asked for a to go box. Got my bill and it was absolutely ridiculous, $6 per sweet tea, an extra $2 for the 1 tiny portion of McDonald’s quality chicken that they didn’t mention was more to substitute over the grilled chicken that already came with the meal.Needless to say they’ll never get any of my money again. I threw the left overs away when I got home. It was a horrible experience, go to Olive Garden you’ll get better food and service.

I checked out this place for the first time on a Saturday evening with my family. Got there about 5:30pm and it was only a few people there. The host greeted us and sent us at a table. The place seem be dim and outdated. I decided to order the low calorie chicken and spinach dish. My other family member decided to order the grilled chicken and veggie low calories dish and one other person in my family decided to order the extra large pizza all were $13.99 each and one of our family members ordered the chicken parmesan $15.99The waitress we had was very nice and pleasant and came back to our table several times to see if we needed anything. We didn't have to wait very long for our meal to arrive they served a house salad that came with the entrees. The house salad was iceberg lettuce looked like it's been dried out with a few croutons I didn't care for it.When my meal came the low calorie chicken and spinach dish it seemed like someone took a tablespoon and served it in the dish the portion size was like for a child and was not worth it. The food did not really taste like anything I did not like it. I decided to have a slice of pizza that one of my family members had ordered and that tasted like something that may be served in a school cafeteria setting. Why not I decided to trsted the low calorie veggie platter that my other family member had and that was just as horrible as the low calorie chicken spinach dish that I ordered.I opted out of not trying the last person in my family's dish the chicken parmesan dish the spaghetti to me it looked like something that might have been scooped out of a Chef Boyardee can. I asked them if they liked it and they did not care for it at all overall service was great food was horrible place was a dim and dingy.

We stopped here for a quick bite on the way to the bar. Don't laugh, you shouldn't drink on an empty stomach. I had the Baked Ziti and the Mrs. had the Grilled Chicken with Broccoli. Even on a busy Valentines night, Susie took great care of us.

Wanted to try a different spot.... Ugh. Pizza was not made fresh. It's like high school cafeteria food. Large is a normal small anywhere else. Pasta was cooked way back when, and tossed in the bowl as one wet clump, all stuck together. All this for for 35 bucks. ? Stay away.
