Being a recent transplant to the South Carolina from the desert southwest, growing up in Southern california, and been born in New mexico, I'm kind of a Mexican food snob / connoisseur. The strange thing is I haven't had bad Mexican food in the Carolinas really since I've been here. Onto this restaurant. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a old Mexican style traditional restaurant. The wait staff is obviously Hispanic are Latino and they are very friendly. The salsa is simple and tasty the guacamole was the best I've had in a restaurant possibly ever I ordered a chicken and beef tip chimichanga. My mom had the 3 item combination with two ground beef tacos and one chile relleno. My chimichanga was superb. I haven't had anything else there, but my mom indicated that she was extremely satisfied with her food and she is a picky as I am. Highly recommended for food atmosphere and service and this is the most detailed review I have given at any restaurant ever. Kudos to the owner and or manager of the restaurant you have done everything right. I will most definitely be back.

We came here about an hour after they opened and the place was pretty crowded. I heard they have quite a wait at night on the weekend. The atmosphere made me feel as if I were in Mexico. I liked it a lot. Our server was very friendly and professional. They bring chips and salsa right away. They were good. I ordered chicken/steak fajitas. Since this is an authentic Mexican restaurant, they do not give cheese and salsa for the fajitas. Normally I ask for extra of these items but here, I didn't need them. The steak and chicken were good. I have had better, but would be happy to order them again if I lived near this restaurant. The rice and beans were okay. Not bad but have had better many times. Dad got the #27 which is a beef burrito and enchilada. I believe this is all he orders here. He loves it. This restaurant is very reasonably priced. Funny enough, they sell airheads and sour candy and other candy as well when you leave. That is a first that I have seen. The owner had stopped by and said he owns 7 of these around South Carolina. It is always nice to support locally owned restaurants.

Large portions. Carnitas were tender. Shrimp chimichanga was lightly fried with large shrimp and tasty queso sauce.

Normally the food is good. But recently my colleagues and I ordered food from there and were super disappointed. With only having such a short time to eat, we weren't aware that we had some items missing. This isn't the first time this has happened. This is the only location that I've been trying to give another shot at. Then the quesadilla was short on the Queso, and it was quite disappointing bc they also forgot the queso dip. Someone needs to overlook the take out orders. I hope this location improves, but like I said things used to run better before. I tried calling this location a few times and no answer.

Went here for the first time and was kinda disappointed in it. I got the deep fried burritos and while they were a good portion size I feel like they lacked flavor. I wish the chicken in the burritos had some sort of seasoning on it.The service was amazing and it is a cute restaurant. I give it a 5/10

Being from Colorado, I am finding it more and more difficult to find authentic Mexican food in Lexington. I had the Carnitas Burrito and it was extremely, mediocre. The queso Blanco is decent, but the Carnitas had little to no flavor, very bland. The salsa tastes like pureed tomatoes, with no additional flavor or spice. Hardly any spice/heat to any of the food tried here. I am starting to think, Lexington is afraid of flavor ?. I hope I can eventually find an authentic Mexican restaurant that reminds me of home. If you have any recommendations please suggest! Thanks

Loved the food but didn't realize when ordering through a delivery service that the taco salad had guaq on it. I won't be ordering it again. No option to leave it off. Took off what I could but the juice had already seeped through. Very disappointed.
