The food was bad. I was sick for 3 days. 1 bite was all it took. Dead fly in the lettuce, and the oysters were putrid.

I used to work here, the food is terrible. They have horrible cleanliness and don’t follow culinary rules at all. I brought my husband twice to use my employee discount, both times he got a chicken sandwich and fries. Both times his fries were covered in mold and literally smelled like cow manure. Do not eat here, karaoke and band night aren’t bad but eat at porter jacks first. I wouldn’t wish their food on my worst enemy.

The waitress was nice. The food was disappointing. I had fried oysters. They were very greasy and more bread than anything else.

During my stay in the area (Sumter, Ashwood, Camden) I went to three other southern food buffet restaurants and Second Mill is by far the best. Large variety of food selections, Very nice dining area and exceptional service. I HIGHLY recommend.

A great spot for locals to gather. Food is good and priced fairly. Bartender Brent does a great job handling an always busy bar area. Haven't tried their buffets yet, but we plan to.
New Management or Owners, and doing a terrific job.

Not a very good experience all the way around. Cheeseburger was not very good. Very sad for a restaurant named grill.

The food was excellent and the service could not have been better. I was with a group of about 15 and the server was nice and cordial. This is was anyone should expect from a small town restaurant. The prices reflect the quality. It is not fine dining and the prices are for a buffet, all you can eat, are in line with other such restaurants throughout the South.

This week's fly-in lunch was to Santee Cooper airport and they suggested we try this place to eat. They have a lunch buffet and we found it quite good. I had salad, fried chicken , green beans, corn, cabbage, mac and cheese, corn bread, pulled port and cake. Plus the sweet tea was good. Server kept our glasses filled. Price was reasonable $12 for all you could eat.
