I really feel like family everyone is so nice and talks about how life is going laughter fills the room and so does the smell of the best seafood you can get. I got the seafood platter the fried oysters where large and fantastic shrimp cooked perfect and the fish just melted in my mouth.I wish I could eat there everyday

Walked in and atmosphere had a strong hot raw fish smell. They only had two senior citizens working with no gloves and prepping the food and touching everything thing. The raw fish that they cook and sell looks very slimy and the shrimp very mushy due to temperature abuse. If you're going to have a open kitchen style at least have a clean and some what neat area. I ordered a shrimp plate and came back with bits of pieces of raw fish that were fried with the shrimps and fries we're cold before I even got all the way in my car. I'm not the type of person to complain but this just needs some work.
The food is 5 star but the owners/workers have terrible attitudes.

Let me start by saying I love a small town, and I love supporting black owned businesses. This place quenched my thirst for both. I really enjoyed the vibe of this place. It's a family business with a husband and wife cooking. They said it gets busier around 1pm-we were there at 11am. I ordered the seafood platter. IT WAS SO MUCH FOOD! You choose the fish you want, which is fresh on the ice, and they fry it up. For $12 I got 2piece whiting with 1 piece flounder,shrimp,fried oysters,hushpuppies, French fries, and Cole slaw. I had enough leftover for dinner. The batter was light and crunchy. The oysters were delicious and I usually don't like fried oysters. I couldn't give them 5 stars bc the hushpuppies were too greasy, and they didn't have a cover over their sweet tea and lemonade.

Because of COVID, we haven't been there lately. Saw the Google updates for maps and this restaurant appeared on the list. Food was piping hot, and delicious. I see they are take out only from comments. Comfortable dining area when we went. Would recommend folks giving them a try.
