This place has been around for years but I never tried it until last month. I wanted to get zongzi for the holiday and felt like I should order a few more items. Interior: reminds me of Taiwan. A literal whole in the wall with flyers tapped to the windows. Please note that this place has a health rating of A. Food: zongzi, solid meat zongzi. Would buy again, but the dish that really stood out was the stinky tofu. Best and Stinkiest tofu I've had. My husband was so offended he said that he would never pick up stinky tofu for me in his car. I like the tofu here more than stinky tofu king, although this place is stingy with the pickled cabbage, like less than 2 oz of it, and I like the sweeter taste of stinky tofu king's cabbage more. Customer service is better at stinky tofu king but I would still come back to patronize this place every now and then.

This is a long overdue review. I've been coming to mamas kitchen since she was in San Gabriel on New ave. I'm so glad They're still open after this whole COVID situation. The food here has a home cooked taste to it that you miss after dining out all the time. The beef noodle soup, cold noodles, beef rolls, and dumplings are my favorites here. I have not had better cold noodles or beef noodle soup anywhere else. It is a very low key place ran by just her and her husband. They are very humble and down to earth. Every time I come here I always leave a big tip and she always say that's too much and gives it back. Of course I don't take it. You get treated like family here. This place is just a place to get good food. No gimmicks or fancy decor. Come support this small business. You won't regret it.

Mama is still going strong after all these years! Located near Carl's Jr., she serves a variety of dry and soup noodles, rice dishes, abd Taiwanese snacks. I like her shrimp fried rice, cold noodles, and wonton soup...it does not taste greasy. I also frequent here to buy her frozen dumplings and wontons when I want to cook some myself. Takeout is available during Covid-19.

I ordered takeout tonight and everything tasted excellent. Bought some frozen dumplings to go too. Will go back soon. Heard they have good cold noodles, want to try next time.

Beef Stew Noodle, Chives Egg Boxes, Spicy Wonton - ALL are great delicious, one of the best Chinese food in Arcadia. Thanks Mama.

It was a Friday night. We decided on a whim to order takeout from Mama's Kitchen in Arcadia, California. We had to order by phone and enter the restaurant when she signaled us to pay and grab our food. Despite these covid measures and no other customers in sight before or after us, a brief encounter with mama brought smiles to our faces. You could see her smile past the mask just by looking at her eyes. She even offered some freshly roasted peanuts. What we're eating: beef rolls (牛肉捲餅), fried stinky tofu(炸臭豆腐), and pork and fennel dumplings(茴香豬肉水餃). It tastes like home.

To go container is used, dirty and sticky! That was disgusting. The store is dirty! I will not go back to this place

Mamaaaaaaa. Oooo oooooh. I'm gonna be thinking about this meal for some time. Ordered a smorgasbord of items and every one SLAPPED. Talking about the best potstickers of your life, pan-fried and crispy. The best dumplings, lounging in a spicy sauce*. The BEST (seriously) handmade noodles. Like... damn Mama. Those noods. Send noods. A little thick, each unique and individual like noodle snowflake. One of the top ten best meals of my life. * pro-tip: use saId spicy sauce for the rest of the meal

Holy guacamole. This place is terrible and disgusting. I used to go to this place (under different management???) about 25 years ago at a different location. I figured I'd try again and it was completely different than before. It's a tiny space and the tables and settings are dirty. The menus have food on them, and the disposable chopsticks had a rice grain stick on the wrapper. *barf* By the time I had noticed most of this I had already put in my order. The prices are extremely expensive for what you get and the dishes they used seemed to be...unclean. The food was not good either, which is the main point. It was the worst $15 I'd ever spent on food. This place needs to close! ASAP!!! They don't even have a bathroom!!!!!!!

1 place is very dirty and smells funny 2 we ordered chive and pork dumplings and chive and fish dumplings, the were served all mixed up, and the lady told us to pick them out ourselves 3 the dumplings were the saltiest I've ever tasted 4 price is steep considering the food quality and service

I've gone here twice now and both times the tiny place was empty besides the owners. We got the beef noodle soup and the spicy chicken cold noodles. Both were excellent for the price and portion sizes. We also got some of the frozen pork dumplings and cooked those. Those were also very good! Only issue was how small the place was. Will return again.

Super good and very vegetarian friendly! I had many options to choose from. I made the mistake of eating too much but just because it was sooooo good.
