Went to this restaurant and the menu didn’t have any prices. I asked the waitress and she said they are redoing the menu and the prices would be on the new one. It had been a good while since I’ve been there but I remembered it didn’t have prices then, which was about two years ago. I can see why they don’t have anyone in this restaurant, lying waitresses and prices change hourly. Response to owner: You have had the same menus for as long as I can remember. Who has menu's with no prices? Don't worry I won't be back, keep paddling as you have for 9 years, the struggle is real.

The place was empty when we got there. We ordered salads. It took 25 minutes for those to come out to our table. The salads were great, and the service was fine. If you go, make sure you're not on a time crunch because the kitchen isS L O W.

I’ve been coming to Tail Race the last 4 or 5 months of moving back to the area. Reason I have been coming back is because of the great environment they establish from open to close. Everyone from every background feels welcomed and taken care of the minute you walk through their door. On top of the environment, you can expect some top tier food for a good price and they always have some kind of specials on drinks and food to keep your pocket feeling like it’s getting itself a deal. The employees are very kind and respectful. Always bringing an upbeat energy to you even if you’re just not feeling it that day, making you feel welcomed. And management does its best to ensure that you have an excellent and safe experience with them and you walk away satisfied. I would highly recommend making it a regular spot for you if you want a drama free place to hang out by yourself or your loved ones. Definitely recommend!Kid-friendliness: Families can definitely feel that this a safe place for their kids. Their kids menu also has some good options for the little ones.

Becca and Scotty thought it only deserved a four, I definitely think it's a five. Understand you are dining at a Tavern, but where do you fine one with this quality of food? Megan the assistant manager served us and she was great. We asked her what she thought of our order and she told us we ordered the top three sellers. Boy I understand now, were they great. I had the Cadillac Seat, The wife had a Patty Melt, and a friend had a Chicken Philly Cheese Steak. All were wow. The fries were raved about too as they were coated with some fabulous flavor. Lest not forget the onion rings, I highly recommend them! Before we finished Jada, the waitress showed up and told us her favorite was off the appetizer menu, "Jammed Up Sliders". We were all wimps and had to ask for to go boxes. All I can say folks is if you get the chance go try em out!

Horrible experience the last couple of times we have been here. Husband and I ordered two drinks and then were cut off by the bartender. Megan is one of the managers and she is horrible. No personality with a people oriented business and she is just mean all around. I will never spend another dollar at Tail Race Tavern and yes it is because of the manager Megan.

The place is tucked away from the main street but is actually well sized when you enter. The seats at the bar are extremely comfortable. Drinks are well priced and the churros are great. There is bingo and karaoke.
