We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 people. The food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding. The owner Michelle was very helpful throughout the process and they had everything ready when we arrived. The staff was attentive , polite and went out of their way to ensure the Bride and Groom had an awesome experience.

visited your restaurant on Friday evening (2-16-2024). I was there because a young lady from our church was celebrating her birthday. When me and my husband enter your restaurant and the greeter was coming to the desk to greet us. A waitress pointed for us to go to our right. We did thought nothing of it till later. We are an African American Couple and to the right it was a party. But why would she assume that we was with them and not just coming to dine just the two of us. Our church party was not all African American. I order blackened Salmon with collards and loaded baked potato. When the waitress bought our food she placed it and left. When we were seated she didn't tell me and my husband her name. After receiving my food she came back a few minutes later and asked the end of the table were we wasn't seated did they want any refills. When she returned to bring one of the member his food cause they had to cook noodles from him. I told her that my Salmon was Cold and I couldn't eat. Her response was you should have said something earlier I can't do anything about it now. I had only taste my Salmon so I basically had the whole Salmon on my plate. My response to her was that I would just take it home and heat it. My collard and potato was at a good temperature so I ate collard and half of potato. I work with food on a daily basis I know that if food drops below the hold temperature especially meat that bacteria can form and make you sick. Also in order to eat it has to be brought up to temperature or discard. The time should have been around 7:50-8:00 pm. give or take a few minutes. I don't know if the kitchen was closed but I feel your waitress response was rude. If was visit was a more pleasant one I would definitely come back. I love my menu choice but didn't enjoy it. If I did it would definitely save my a trip to Charleston or Summerville for Salmon. I found out my waitress name for the other member when we were leaving. Her name is Holly. I might just be one person and my experience at your restaurant may not matter to you but I felt you needed to be aware of my experience. Thank you. Feb 17, 12:08 pm

Great family restaurant. We tried it on a Friday night and were so happy. Service was excellent. The food was so good and the desserts….. where to begin with the desserts. Cannot wait to go back, could very easily see this being our new go to restaurant.

Great food and atmosphere. We had a reservation for 20 but only 8 individuals could make it due to sickness and/or the weather was to cold for them to come out. Joe was very understanding and took excellent care of us. Everyone got something different to eat and was pleased with their meal. No one went home hungry. We will be back.

Hidden gem of a restaurant. Menu had a little of everything without having too many options. Service was very attentive and friendly. Went on a Friday night and almost the whole restaurant was full, but they had a few tables open for walk ins.

Our family visits The Barony House often. Everyone always gets tasty food without a long wait after ordering. The service is great! Smiling happy to help people. The prices range under $10 -$20, offering Sr and child sizes as well. However, one of the absolute best parts, the deserts! Huge cakes homemade! Large helpings! Some cake examples include; Triple Chocolate, Hummingbird, Pistachio, German Chocolate! They also have cobbler’s and Bread puddings! I Love the Country Fried Steak! Homemade Mashed potatoes… you get the picture ?(I’ll ad some photos later)

First time at this restaurant, and was for their traditional Thanksgiving meal. Very impressed! Almost felt like I was at Hall's with the immediate and personal service. Their scratch buttermilk biscuits were the start, and that could have been my meal as they were rich and flavorful. All the fixings with a low country fav tomato pie. Sweet potato casserole also has apples! Don't knock it till you try it. Dessert choices of over 7 cakes, and went "peeecan" apple! Moncks Corner has the BEST non-chain restaurants!

One of the BEST places we have eaten in the Summerville area if not Charleston! It began when we opened the door and the aroma of home cooked food made our mouths water. Then the service was great. Did I mention our table was next to the awesome cakes? Our food was perfect and we did not have to wait long. The owner and our server regularly came by to check on us. A must place to put on your places to eat for a delicious meal. I just hope this review does not cause us to wait in line for an hour. The good news is they have a bar in case I do have to wait.

We wanted to try this place after its good reviews....If only the used tongues!!! Witnessed several staff bare-handing bread into baskets after handling cash.....food was Hospital Cafeteria quality, but has potential. Turkey was just not good, the stuffing is the same as in stuffed crabs, Jambalaya was fair but tiny serving. Maybe if we had ordered other things.

Taco Salad - you need to go easy on the shredded cheese, sour cream and dressing and have an option to do Chicken or Beef. Some people like the salad not the mess of cheese, sour cream and dressing. Cheese, Dressing and Sour Cream OVERLOAD!
