Cannot say enough good things about this bakery. I was looking for a bakery that could make a vegan birthday cake and when I stopped in Gail was so helpful. She spent over 20 mins chatting with us and even let us sample a gluten free sugar cookie and vegan cupcake (both delicious). A week later, when time to pick up the cake - I was running late and worried I wouldn't make it before they closed. We came in at the last minute to order a Hummingbird cake and the wonderful ladies at Bakies were able to come up with one when we needed it. The shop is a cute little spot in the I'on area. The cake was great, the service was marvelous, and we really appreciated their going the extra mile to help make my mom's birthday a success.
