A Geechee seafood employee named Doris invited us to walk the boardwalk behind the building and take pics of the boats & boardwalk. Shout out to Doris! My 17 year old daughter said this was the favorite place she visited on our tour of Outer Banks filming sites—and if they sold t-shirts, we’d have bought two!

Small selection of awesome fish right off the waters edge at Shem creek. A bit hard to find but a fun experience as you wait for your fish there are pelicans who stand around waiting for scraps.

Staff were friendly. But the quality of shrimp that we bought was less than expected. Bought 10lbs of medium shrimp, but got at least 75% smaller than medium.Bought 1lb of large shrimp and all were no bigger than medium. Guess we'll go to Crosby's next time

You would think since there is a literal shrimp boat right behind them, that this would be fresh shrimp. Boy, was I wrong. Brought the shrimp. Tried to peel them an hour later and they were all stuck to the shells, slimy and smelled. They obviously sold us old shrimp that was left over. Feel free to go to Mt. Pleasant seafood because we went there a couple days before and the shrimp were amazing. Don't waste your time or money. Both places are the same price. 14/lb for old shrimp.
