“Very enjoyable dinner at Taverna last night. Carly was our server and she was delightful and very efficient. The 4 of us enjoyed branzino, rack of lamb and a steak. Spinach, pita salad, potatoes, Brussels sprouts as sides and for desert gelato, donut holes and baklava. This is the 3rd time here and I can't wait to return. Thank you to the staff who treated us like royalty, very much appreciated. Keep up the great work!“
“Delicious gyros! Traditional Greek recipes and ingredients. No lamb- and they took the time to explain why. In Greece lamb gyros are not traditional which I found interesting and insightful. That being said, they informed me they are known for pork…of course I ordered chicken before knowing. So I will just need to come back and get the pork soon ? the baklava was also perfectly flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. I like when there are still identifiable pieces of nuts in the layers and theirs certainly had some. Can’t wait to return.“
“If I could eat here every day I would! Staff super friendly, I feel like I'm talking to family when I order my food. And everything on the menu is but if you don't know what you want I suggest the platter. You can sit and eat at the tables outside the food truck (dog friendly!!) or do take out!“
“So good! We are vacationing in the area and saw that Kairos had great reviews. They certainly lived up to those reviews for my family. Fresh and delicious food, huge portions, very reasonable pricing, and the restaurant was very clean (including the restroom). My husband, teen son, and I all got the platters. Each of the platters in the pix were only $12.99 each! How great is that!? I personally chose the harissa chicken and falafels for my proteins and they had great flavor and texture. The platter is perfect for someone like me that can't decide and wants some of this and some of that. Don't miss out on this gem!“
“We were so nicely greeted and quickly waited on by a sweet woman who was helpful with answering questions about the menu. We even had a few laughs with her. My hubby and I both had the gyros that were sooo good!!! Our experience all around was wonderful! We will be back again and again! :)“
“We visited Charleston for my sister’s 40th birthday and our group of 7 people went to Stella’s for a late dinner. The food, atmosphere and service was amazing. As a group full of Greeks, we were all impressed with the authentic cuisine and they had great selections for Greek wine. The staff was friendly, attentive and made the experience enjoyable. We would definitely visit this place again next time we are in Charleston.“
“The Greek Salad is awesome! And grab some melitzanosalada for an authentic flair (good luck pronouncing that). There’s something here for everyone too. Even if you’re not a greek food fan (if there is such a thing).Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly“

“So, so good. We got the kebab for one person, tuna salad wrap for shorter, and picked from the deli case for 2 more. I’ve been here many times and highly recommend. The coconut cake is excellent as well.Only oddity was that the men’s bathroom was out of soap, toilet paper, and paper towels the whole time we were there (let them know and they were out of supplies).“
“We had the Low Country Boil & hush puppy side order. It was easily enough for 2 people! The low country boil was simple & tasty & FRESH! Hush puppies were outrageously delicious! Service was excellent, price was quite reasonable! We both had on tap beer. We sat outside in courtyard & enjoyed live music & great ambiance! I'd give this all the stars!“
“FABULOUS! Oh how I enjoyed this place!!! Everything was phenomenal:) First of all, the service. On point! Courteous and respectful. We had a dashing young man who was polite and saw to our every need. He gave us pointers on what to order, checked if I could swap a side (not normally done) and arranged for a fabulous mocktail. Sigh. The food was yum. We started off with the flaming cheese saganaki. This was served with a basket of pita bread. My entree was the WHOLE BRANZINO which was served on a wooden platter. This was an entire fish with the head on, bone-in and char-grilled with spices bedazzling the crunchy skin. I had this with the Greek potatoes which were incredible. My date had the KAKAVIA, a unique dish of shrimp, squid, salmon, clams, and mussels in a light lemon and tomato broth over fresh Greek pasta. Everything was spectacular; so very flavorful and beautifully presented. We rounded the evening off with the berry and fig panacotta. This place is wonderful and I'm so happy it's in a great with easy parking. The restaurant can be a little tight, and it's quite loud, but that's part of the robust culture of Greece. Embrace it! Opa!!!“
