Taproom was quite large and clean. Building was little difficult to find. The back room was filled with TVs and tables, the beer was okay-liked the coffee stout but didn’t love the lager. Staff was very friendly and let us try a few different beers. Will definitely be back to try a few of the other beers only tried two this visit. Indoor and outdoor area
A great place to enjoy excellent craft beer. We were lucky enough to be able to rent out the whole place for our son's rehearsal dinner. Platia's food truck brought in a great buffet, the Hobcaw team were very welcoming and helpful, and guests of all ages loved the casual vibe and the great choices of drinks on offer. Perfect venue for our celebration--thanks!
Great place. Great management. Excellent oysters!
I’m a huge fan of sour beers. I would consider myself somewhat of a sour beer connoisseur. Hobcaw has the BEST sour beer I have ever had in my life. A bold statement, but a true statement! And Phil and Ram are incredible! I would highly recommend Hobcaw to anyone!!
Delicious. Fan of the West Coast and King Tide is spot on. Great people. Go party.
Had a wonderful time ! The craft beers are amazing and so is a amazing bartender Abby! Thank you
Cool venue indoor and out. Some great beers, worth checking out. When you turn off the main road, it might look like u took a wrong turn for a second but keep driving straight and you'll see it.
Awesome spot! 12 beers on tap, good selection. Love all the fun games as well.
Love some Hobcaw. Great location, great beer selection. Perfect outdoor area for kids and the back room is great for bigger parties
I had the pleasure of stopping by there yesterday afternoon and it was awesome. Super friendly staff, great space (i didnt know about the huge warehouse area until I was about to leave) and the 4 different beers I tried were are very good and true to style. My only regret is not grabbing a 4 pack of the Black IPA to go! PRO TIP" Google Maps will get you almost there...its a blue building down behind a row of industrial buildings, across the street from two blokes :)

Nice local brewery that is dog friendly.
Great atmosphere and service! Tiffany and Chris are great owners and have built a wonderful business. Highly recommend!!
Went there for a Greatful Goldens Rescue event.
First time at this little brewery and was pleasantly surprised. They pack a lot into such a small place and make use of every inch of space to create several unique niches. The initial taproom is bright clean refreshing clear and precise. Bright coastal vibes. Tried almost all the beers the Under The Oak bourbon barrel aged barleywine was a definite winner followed up by Ubergang and this is coming from someone who normally enjoys lighter beers. These 2 options were still very light and easy drinking but packed with tons of great flavor. Outside there was a great food truck Wedge, tons of seating and an area for the kids to play. Inside through the taproom there's a cozy seating area with all the great smells of a brewery followed by a huge open wharehouse area with a few games and very large TVs to watch the game. They also had some vendors there when we went selling all types of different things so keep an eye on insta to see what's going on.
Best brewery in Charleston if not all of SC. Ambiance, quality of beer, and an amazing staff make this place a must visit. Chris is always making sure quality food trucks are available for customers, swapping out beers regularly, and great beer is always on draft. The folks behind the bar, paired with beer under the oaks, means you can come back every day of the week and never get sick of it (believe me, my husband and I have done it). IPA drinkers especially must visit this brewery - always multiple on draft and constant rotations. If this hasn’t convinced you, it’s kid friendly & has Sunday ticket!
PS - extra points if you come in on Tuesday ($2 off pints!) & Wednesday when our favorite bartender Erin is behind the bar!
